PBK Anywhere Chair-Which Size to Get?

LOVE these chairs, but which size would you recommend for an (almost) 2yr old? I'm debating between the oversized and regular. I love that I've read the regular size is easily carried from room to room by toddlers, but hate that it tips easily if not propped against something. The oversized is large and will last a long time, but is it as easy for a young child to carry around the house?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone, for your responses! Since we have a baby on the way, we decided to purchase the regular-sized chair for our toddler son. Reading that so many of you got such a great lifespan out of your chairs, we decided to eventually purchase a new slipcover for the regular-sized chair to make it "girly" for his sister when our son is ready to "upgrade" into the "REALLY BIG, big boy" chair. It'll be like having two brand new chairs in the house, each kid with their own. :)

Hi H.,

My son is 19 months and has the oversized chair. He can already pull it from kitchen to living room (slides on wood floors easily).

I got it on EBay and saved a bundle.

Good luck!

We have 2 of them (regular) and have never had problems with tipping. Our son's had his since he was 12 months. He'll be 4 tomorrow, and we've only had to replace the slipcover once (this past Christmas).
Our daughter's had hers almost a year and a half, and it's as nice today as when we first got it.

In fact, we play "Smash and Crash" with ours, and the kids have a tough time tipping them over sometimes - makes the game not as much fun for them.

I love the oversized ones, but if you don't have the space for multiple chairs for multiple kids (if you wish to personalize), I'd stick with the regular.

Our kids are 2 and almost 4, and they carry them from room to room by the handle on the top/back. They love them. Definitely a purchase I'd recommend.

we got the regular sized chair as a gift. it is so cute. i have not compared the oversized chair to the regualr chair in person. i personally like the regular sized one as it takes up less space. aren't these chairs adorable?

I got the oversized when my son turned one. A friend told me to get the larger size because her son outgrew the regular very quickly. The oversized was too big for my son drag around at one year, but by 2 he could easily. I think since yours is almost 2 you would end up buying the oversized pretty shortly and not get your money's worth out of the smaller.

We got ours as a present when my daughter was born. She's now 19 months and it's now become the greatest thing she has. We have the regular size and her feet are at least a couple of inches from the ground but she's small about 31 inches tall. We've never had any problems with tipping and we have it in the middle of her playroom.

Love the chair too. My 4 year old still fit in the regular chair, but you could see she was getting too big for it. So, if you get that one, I think you have a good 2 years use for it. My youngest now uses it and she's 2. This chair was very worth the money. Durable, cute and we got lots of use out of it!!
