My son got a hold of a black ink pen today and got it all over my microfiber chair. Any one have any suggestions on what will get it out w/out ruining the chair? White out won't get the job done on this one:)

I would go for the hair spray and dabbing as well but if you get that far and don't really get all of it out, you might try baby wipes. They are effective in removing many stains that stain removers and other home remedies don't manage to handle.
If it's just regular ink from a ball point pen, rubbing alcohol will work. Just dampen a white cloth or cotton balls with the alcohol and blot, don't rub, rubbing will leave a ring, then clean with a gentle laundry detergent and water.
Hairspray can lift pen off clothing. You may want to research or do a test patch before you try this all over your chair.
sol-u-mel!!! My son did this to yellow leather booth seats at a restaurant and it took it right out. Yes, i keep it in the car and eveywhere I go.
Solumel and PreSpot would do the trick...plus they are safe (no toxins or chemicals)...My dog did that to me once :o)

We have found Zep Carpet and fabric cleaner to get tons out, we love it and it is at Home Depot.
HAIRSPRAY! Spray and Dab with cloth.
I droped a ball point pen on my NEW LIGHT BAIGE sofa...and i do mean new not a week old.
Hairspray did the trick!
