Hi Moms,
I was wondering if any of you have any opinions on the Phentermine diet pill.
I have a friend and family member who currently take it and have both lost a great amount of weight while using it.
I want to stay away from anything addicting or that causes major mood swings/irratibility.
I'm just looking for something to help me lose that extra baby weight after trying for so long now!
Thanks for any helpful info.

What can I do next?

I'm courrently taking it. It really works but the side effects are pretty bad; I have to take it two days and stop two days and so on, because I cannot sleep, I'm always shaking, thirsty...well, I lost 7 pounds but I'm only taking it because I already got them; for my body, it is too much.

Is no way to become addict to it, the feeling is horrible, I think what happens is, everybody may become "tolerant" and after few weeks, the effects in the body are not the same and people may overtake in order to keep the appetitte low.

Well, that's my experience. I hate them buy they really work.

Good Luck.

Eli

I am currently taking it and the best advise I can offer is only take 1/2 of the pill and i wont take it after 7 am in the morning any later than that and i am up all night. drink LOTS and LOTS of water, that really helps too!! its not adictive and doesnt cause mood swings, its great as far as helping me work out too!!

I've taken Phentermine and I was able to lose the weight that I wanted but it is highly addictive. I was weaned off of it and felt ok now I've gained the weight back due to other factors but if you work out and keep on top of the weight loss I don't see a problem. I am a nurse in Rowlett and will tell you that Dr's DO NOT LIKE Phentermine. I haven't seen one that would prescribe it of course that doesn't mean you can't get it. Just be careful!!!

I know what you mean! I speak from experience when I say that this was the only thing that worked for me. I tried everything! Diet, exercise, fasting! I lost 15 lbs. in 2 weeks. I am currently not taking it because I am pregnant but it does work!

Good luck!

Just wondering if you received any responses to this. I was curious myself. I normally won't take any "diet" pill because it does make me irritable -and I already have enough stress without that. But, if it works without the mood swings I would be willing to try it.
