I would like to join or start a playgroup for babies born in this timeframe. I am happy to host at my home in Cupertino or meet at local parks. My daughter is 4 months old.

Thanks to those who suggested Las Madres. I do know of this group but I specifically wanted to start a group of babies born in this time frame as a Jan 07 birth is very different to a Nov birth.

I second the Las Madres recommendation... I have 2004 & 2006 boys in the area and their playgroups are fantastic. Go to www.lasmadres.com and sign up for a free 30day trial... you can trial more than one region (Sval/Cupt/etc) at a time before committing to any ($50/yr for the first and something like $20/yr for more than one playgroup). There's an organization called Las Madres - started 50 years ago about a small group of women. There are now playgroups for every birth year and in most of the cities around here. Each playgroup can choose to go alumni after 5 years (most kids go off to kindergarten, so that's why 5 was the chosen number). I was in a playgroup from the time my daughter was 6 1/2 weeks old until she turned 5. I loved it! It was a great support system in many ways. Their website is: www.lasmadres.com
