I too live in the Green Twp area and have been looking for awhile for a playgroup for my daughter who is also 15 months old. I am 25 years old, sounds like we have a lot in common. I have not found any groups in this area but have gone to the green twp library a few times for story time and i am currently taking my daughter to gymnastics classes at western hills sports mall. hope this helps!

Hi! We're in Green Township, too, and I'm looking for playgroups/places to meet other moms closer to home since we had our 2nd child earlier this year. With a preschooler and an infant, it's just *much* easier to stay local instead of driving 60+ minutes roundtrip to attend a 1-2 hr playgroup.

So far, here are some places we've enjoyed meeting other moms & babies:

* Covedale Library Storytimes - weekly
TUES (ages 3-5) & THURS (birth to 3) at 10a and again at 1:00pm, 4980 Glenway Ave
http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/branches/covedale.html
Miss Colleen is a *wonderful* children's librarian, very engaging, welcoming, animated and always worth the trip! Although Green Township library has a bigger meeting room than Covedale, we (both the kids and I) enjoy the Covedale library's storytimes more. So, its not a playgroup per se, but it's a regular meeting place each week (and no reason why we couldn't spin off into a playgroup or lunch bunch!).

* Western Hills La Leche League - monthly
FIRST THURS of each month, 7 ____@____.com's Large Meeting Room (Bridgetown Rd)
This monthly mother-to-mother support meeting welcomes both moms and children. While the moms talk, the babies & kids play. Again, not a playgroup, but a good place to meet other moms and from there, maybe form a playgroup if you feel like it. This is a new local chapter in Western Hills, and it kicks off it's monthly meeting series this September 2006! Meetings are always free, though you can become a member if you want to support the non-profit organization. (P.S. - I've met some really great moms through LLL, but I've had to drive to Clifton, Hyde Park, or Blue Ash to attend other groups because we haven't had a west side group until now, thus my excitement!)

...I'll update this more as we find more playgroups, moms groups, social opportunities, etc.
