Hi Everyone,

I will be 15 weeks on Thursday and was just wondering when you started to feel the baby move? (I already have 2 other kids -ages 5 and 2 1/2- but I just can't remember........ I THOUGHT I felt something little a few times over the past couple weeks but few and far between. So, I don't know if I just imagined it or what....LOL. I do know I felt our second sooner than I did the first but I just can't remember how far along I was. Just getting excited. THANKS for the info!

What can I do next?

It took FOREVER. We already knew he was a boy so it was after twenty weeks. Maybe twenty-two or so? I'm really skinny but the placenta was in the way.

I just had my third recently and I felt the movement for sure at 16 weeks. No having to go is that gas or movement. I knew it was movement. Before that I think since 14 weeks I thought i felt something here or there but my doctor told me that wasn't possible considering the fetus is only as big as a lemon at best. But who knows.

But I now feel "phantom" kicks there still. So I did some research and basically phantom kicks are mearly digestive movement that we are so in tune to our stomachs because of the movement we became so aware of while pregnant. So I have no doubt now that he was pry right and 16 weeks is the earliest it can be. My god can digestive movement confuse you. I thought sometimes that my baby was still in me! lol

I musta been a late bloomer! I didn't feel my babies until I was around 5 months pregnant! That was my favorite part of my pregnancies. There is nothing like feeling that precious little life moving inside you!

Congratulations on your new addition to your family!

I felt my son move around 15 or 16 weeks and I was about 40 lbs overweight so you may be able to feel movement sooner. Also, I know that if you have been pregnant before you will probably feel this baby move sooner since you know what it feels like.

I would say soon if not already especially with your third when you recognize those feeling. It is so light at first, remember. Good luck and congratulations!

I'm six months pregnant with my first. I started feeling "something" (I was unsure about it for WEEKS) way earlier than you're supposed to be able to, at three months. But it wasn't until at least four months I was SURE of it but it was still so delicate I couldn't believe I'd feeling it for so long! Now, at 24 weeks, I'm getting jabbed and nudged so hard I can barely remember how it felt at first!

With my son I felt him at 14 weeks. I thought I was having gas, but it was much to everywhere to be gas. My doctor told me it was the baby!

I felt my first two kids move around 15 weeks. My last son is very active and I felt him flutter around 12 weeks and I felt definite kicks around 16 weeks. I was really surprised because it seemed so early but the ultrasound showed that he was moving all over and the technician could feel the strong kicks on the wand. He is a very busy busy boy now and I have problems keeping patches on his pants now. If there is anything in his way he will climb it or move it somehow.

I am 18 weeks with my 2nd and started feeling the flutter about 2 weeks ago. With the 1st it was later but I wasn't sure what I was feeling either.

Any time now if those random flutters you said you had felt weren't it. I loved that feeling! = )

I think I felt it around 15-16 weeks w/my first but earlier with the 2nd. I suppose it might be different depending on you uterus' position, the fetus' position and mother's weight.

I remember with my first that it took a while. I remember getting my ultra sound at about 20 weeks and just barely was able to feel little movements.

I'll bet you didn't imagine it! But I think it completely depends upon the Mom and her physique. I did not feel my first baby move until week 23-24. I felt my second around week 18. Congratulations!
