I am wondering what you would recommend for a private school for my son starting Kindergarten. We live in the Keller/Southlake area.
Thank you in advance.

We looked at quite a few in person (Harvest, FW Christian, etc.) and our favorite is Bethesda so we will be applying ours there. I would just tour as many as you can and you will form your own impressions. Keep in mind that some are evangelical and some are disciples so I would inquire about that if that is important to you (I didn't realize that before I started researching, one of the schools told me). I know FWC is evangelical, Harvest and Bethesda are not. Good luck finding one and email me if you have other questions, I might be able to answer but am just starting the process myself as well!

I attended FWC(1st - 6th), Bethesda (7th-8th), and Lake Country Christian (9th- middle of 12th) growing up. FWC was not so hot. I liked Bethesda. Lake Country was a good school but the kids there were horrible. Right now I have my 2 girls in Calvary in Fort Worth. It is amazing! Love the teachers and the kids are pretty good too. I have heard good things about Harvest in Watauga and Faith in Grapevine. I would look at any you were interested in and try to meet the teachers and see what you are comfortable with.

Best of luck. I know this can be a pain.

we are a current family at Bethesda and we chose it after looking at several others. They are the most economical and have the highest test scores. I know that Bethesda is having an open house on Monday night that includes a tour and is a good resource for any questions.

Our niece has attended Bethesda for 5 years and after seeing the remarkable changes in her character we enrolled our son two years ago.
We are so pleased that our daughter will start kindergarten in the Fall.

We've been very pleased with Bethseda. Our principle received National Recogition for outstanding elementary school principal this past year.

Their Honorable Character program that they developed is used by both ppublic and private school around the country.

Hope this helps!

I graduated from FWC and could not stand it!!! My little brothers were in the elementary and middle school and my parents pulled them after 1 year. Since I was in HS i stayed. THeir sports were good.

NOW this being said i graduated 9 years ago and they have made many changes with administration.

I worked for Bethesda in the Early Childhood Development. I left after my daughter got Salamanila posioning from the chicken so I think that says my opinion there.

Brothers wound up going to Harvest after FWC and they loved it. Also SEAS is great in Keller. One of the best prices too. Yes it is Catholic but there is alot of kids there that are not Catholic. My daughter went there for 3, 4 and kindergarten, as a single mom i couldnt afford it the past two years so she is now going to the best rated Keller Elementary
