Ok, so not me, my sister. She is on her 3rd round of IVF and so her husband knows they are supposed to find out today. Well FINALLY she is pregnant. So now she needs a cute way to tell him. Ready.... GO!
Send him fowers with a card that says 'HAPPY FATHER'S DAY'.
Walmart has some really cute onsies that say 'daddy proof onsie and arrows that point to the neck hole and say 'head' arrows to the arm holes that say 'arms' and to the bottom and say'snap' .
How about just calling him and putting him our of his misery? If I were your brother in law I would be starring at my phone waiting and waiting......
I mean he knows right so he is probably sitting at his office thinking the worst....
I know it is fun to be cute but this just feels like one of the times you just call and blurt it out.

Hit the bookstore and buy a book specifically for new dads. A cute one that he MIGHT actually read because it's humorous is "The New Dads Survival Guide".
Wrap it up, and have her give it to him during dinner.
My hubby was there when we found out we pregnant with both our kids. But how I told my best friend was: "You will never guess what happened last night,someone snuck in to the doctors office and killed my rabbit"! She got it right away.
How about a #1 Dad cheesey gifty thing OR have a manly flower arrangement sent to his work that says Congratulations!

Maybe suprise him with a best dad t-shirt? Or send him an email with you wearing a best M. or bun in the oven type t shirt
Since he's going to expect an answer ASAP, I would do what someone said below...get an "I LOVE MY DADDY" bib and wrap it up for him when he comes home from work.

Since telling the news happens within hours of finding out, the t-shirt ideas and things that require days of ordering don't work. Think how crazy it is to see that test show positive. I think giving the test to dad is a good way. Wrap it up as a gift if you want, or like me just dig in out of your purse and hand it over to him. He thought it was a pen and it was fun to watch his face as he realized what he was looking at. I think the nonchalant approach is the funnest way to give a big surprise. Where other special ways of telling, like gifts, usually give it away (especially when they know pregnancy is a possibility).
Have her buy a picture frame and instead of a picture inside it place a piece of paper that says, "To be filled on_____ (place the due date in the blank spot). Or buy a nice keep sake like a silver baby spoon, piggy bank, silver pacifier etc and place it in a box for him to open.

buy a present for your husband and pack it in a way where he can peek in and just say its because you love him and put things in there like binkies, blankets, baby booties, socks and a onesie and when he opens it he sees all these things.
or.. get a picture with a daddy poem on it or a little feet poem and give it to him.
or she can get a white shirt and write on it that says 'Guess What' and on the back ' WE ARE PREGNANT'
YOU call him up, with her beside you, and ask him what he wants for 'Father's-to-Be Day'?
