Hello, can anyone recomend an OB in the Kirkland area (not located within evergreen hospital)? I don't know anyone who has had a baby recently to ask. ANY names would be appreciated. Thanks so much

Not sure why you want one that is not located at Evergreen. But, anyway, my Dr is fabulous and so are all the other Drs at her practice. They are located in the hospital however. Her name is Dr Karen Wells and she is a part of The Center For Womens Health at Evergreen. Website is... http://www.womenshealthcare.org/

I had two high risk pregnancies and I loved my Drs as well as Evergreen. I highly recommend them.

I'm not sure what your experience at Evergreen was that doesn't make you want to see an OB there, but I had one years ago and will never go back myself (specifically due to one particular Ob doctor), even though I live down the street. I went to Overlake to have both of my boys. I know everyone loves Evergreen, but not me.

I know you're asking for Kirkland, though my old OB is in Bellevue, at Bellegrove ObGyn. His name is Dr. Hal Zimmer. He's really wonderful, though the practice is a little busier than I prefer. I'm pregnant again and going to a midwife this time (at Puget Sound Midwife & Birthing Center in Kirkland). I see a naturopath generally (which I highly recommend anyway), and she does Gyn exams. Here's her info:

Dr. Kathleen Allen ND

Sorry I don't have any recommendations for exactly what you're looking for, but I figured this might help.

Good luck!

I highly recommend the midwives that deliver at Puget Sound Birth Center. You will have a very life-changing experience soon, and any of those lovely ladies will help it happen the way you imagine it!

I had Sunita Iyer, ND, LM through my last pregnancy and delivery with my midwife Tracey Cooper (off on maternity leave right now) and she was wonderful!

Blessings!

Here's a practice in Bellevue. I haven't been yet but just called for an appointment myself. This group was recommended to me so I can't personally give a reference yet.

I went to Gary Rogers in Bellevue. I LOVED him! I live in Mukilteo and would drive to Bellevue to see him. I had 2 girls with him and had horrible pregnancies. He is great!
Good Luck and congrats!!

In case you'd consider it, we had our baby through the midwives at the Puget Sound Birth Center and would HIGHLY recommend them.
