Resort Water Parks Worth Taking the Trip...

I am looking for a water park that is fairly reasonable priced in the IL/WI area over Easter Weekend. My sisters will be both visiting my Mom who lives in AZ which leaves just my family this Easter therefore thought it would be a good opportunity to get away for the night. Any suggestions with a good price deal - I was thinking maybe Lake Geneva or Wisconsin Dells. Any help is appreciated.

What can I do next?

In the Dells we found that when we went up with our kids, that the Great Wolf was best for smaller kids your age. It is very small kid friendly.

It was perfect for my (then) 3 year old and baby daughter.

Last couple of times that we went, we stayed at the Kalahari water park... (Wisconsin Dells)
http://www.kalahariresorts.com

check their specials and packages.. they very often have great deals during the off season...
there are many other smaller places available too.. Kalahari is the biggest water park in Wis Dells
I've heard the Great Wolf in Wisconsin Dells is good too (nver been myself) and the one in Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is also supposed to be good(again never been myself).

Hope you find a good deal. HAve fun. We always have a great time.

Hi C.!

Although the Wolf Lodge and others in the Dells are nice, you can get the same experience without having to travel so far. My family and in-laws decided we wanted to do the same thing last year, but we wanted to spend more time doing, not driving. Especially since we had kids - the less travel the better! We went to Timber Ridge at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva. We got a 2 bedroom condo with a kitchen that we shared with my sister-in-law and her family and my mother and father-in-law got a 1 room condo. They also have fold out beds too. We were able to eat whenever we wanted and saved money on food since the kids don't always eat an entire meal at a restaurant anyways. Check out their web site and see what you think. Have fun!

We love Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI, and Jelly Stone in Warrens, WI.

We are planning on another trip next month as well, and we may try the one in Lake Geneva this time.

They are for sure worth it. Even my hubby and I had a blast going down the slides one the tubes.

In the Dells, we've stayed at both Chula Vista and The Wilderness. Both have excellent indoor water parks for smaller children. Their rooms are nice too.
