We have been living in Blue Springs since January & my husband and I will have our first opportunity for a night out. We would love a few suggestions on a place to enjoy an awesome dinner.

Thanks so much!

If you like steak, Texas Roadhouse across from Walmart in Blue Springs is great. Not terribly expensive, but good food!

Texas roadhouse! Great food, and the prices are reasonable, but more of a family, louder environment for a date.If you like Japansese there's Kobe's (outer rd by costco.,) and samuri on 40 hwy (it's cheaper) Carraba's has about the best filet steak you can get around here! And their pasta's yummy too!(outer rd by costco as well.) As far as romance,if your money is not an issue,I think everyone should experience the melting pot! It's pricey but it's fun and relaxing, also a good environment to be able to visit with one another.
Have a great time!

Check and see if the Marina Grog and Galley is open at Lake Lotawa. It's lovely dining with a beautiful view of the lake. Very romantic!

Welcome to the area, and enjoy your night out!

If you like Italian food, V's Italian Garden out near 40 HIway and Sterling is excellent. Could I suggest that you go to Restaurant.com and enter the zip codes in the areas that you are interested in, not only can you get a ticket for a much cheaper price ( unfortunately V's is usually sold out of their coupons .) but most of the restaurants have menus on the site that you can look at, get an idea of what they serve and what the prices are.
You can also sign up at Restaurant.com and they will email you special offers. Right now you can get a $25 coupon for only $2 if you select your coupon that you want and then enter the code word "meal" (shhhh don't tell them that I gave you the word for the week...lol). If it looks like something you would like to use on an ongoing basis, you can buy a package of 12 couons that you can decide what restaurant you want them used at each month as you go...and can get the whole thing right now for only $24 !!!
There are SO many great places to eat in the Kansas City area...do a search online....you can have anything from Greek, German, Japanese, Italian, Barbeque, you are only limited by how interested you are in experimenting!!
Enjoy!!

If you like home cooking, you can't beat The Corner Cafe! For BBQ, I think it's called the Smokehouse, just across from Independence Center. Italian- Olive Garden, or Zio's, my daughter likes a place called Accurso's by the Plaza, a little less busy and intimate. I love, love, love Outback for steaks. Yum now I'm hungry!

The Plaza is really safe despite the recent news.
Plaza III, McCormick & Schmicks, and actually my personal favorite is Houstons are all on the Plaza. It's a chain but good. Just east of the Plaza is Grand Street Cafe.
A little further south near Brookside is Axious (not sure of the spelling) but it is a wonderful local restaurant.

Enjoy.
