Ricocheting off Rachel's Question, What Chores Do You Enjoy Doing?

I love vacuuming! It makes my carpet look so pretty! I love putting the lines in the carpet. Plus its fun/gross to see how much dust I pick up.
I only vacuum once a week. Dont tell anybody!

I like laundry - it's easy and satisfying.

I like cooking for company or for special occasions. I don't like day-to-day deciding what to make and making dinner.

I hate chores. All of them. No exceptions. But I also hate to live in filth, and I do like a good meal, so I do the chores, at least the ones not assigned to my daughter.

I love grocery shopping too. Without the kids is preferable, but they're such great helpers, I really don't mind it at ALL. I also don't mind vacuuming. Like I said, if my house was all carpet, I would gladly vacuum twice a day! I've always been soothed by the noise the vacuum makes. I wash windows a lot too. It drives me insane when the babys fingerprints are all over everything. We actually had a bird run into our huge front window like the Windex commercials, LOL!! You can still see his little outline (because I can't wash the outside, it's too high up!)...

My other post made it seem like I hate cleaning... but I really do have a very clean house. Tidy, is a different story ;)

I love to cook, just not when I have three kids underfoot. There is something so satisfying about watching my friends and family devour something I just made. It nourishes them and makes them happy.

I love to clean the bathroom. I like to stand back and admire the sparkle upon completion.

I like doing laundry, except for the folding and putting away. (um, I guess that is most of the chore, huh?)

I like cleaning generally. I enjoy checking things off of my list.

HATE grocery shopping! But, it has to do with the fact that I always feel rushed, and we don't have many stores with much selection. (Love other shopping, though. Can that be a chore?)

I kind of feel like you do about cleaning the bathrooms---it's just SO worth it to have everything shining! (OMG...did I just write that? How pathetic is that? lol)

And vacuuming up the GIGANTIC furballs on the floor/carpet from my husky/collie makes the whole house look "cleaner".

Oh--Iove to do the disposal cleaner packet thingy, too.

All of them. :) I really do. Dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, vacuuming, etc.... :)

I like most of my chores :) I love to cook, laundry is actually rather comforting and relaxing (even folding and putting away), I like helping the kids clean up their toys, and I even enjoy grocery shopping WITH the kids.

I like the sparkle and smell of freshly swept and mopped floors, but they get dirty so fast that I don't get to enjoy it :P

On the flip side, I HATE dishes and cleaning the kitchen because I feel like I'm ALWAYS doing it! (same principle for sweeping & mopping)

Oh, I laughed so hard at Tracy K's response! Love it! This would totally be a trick question to me! Chores and I are not the best of friends.

If I HAD to like a chore, it would be cleaning the bathroom. There is hardly any clutter, everything has a place and it's the smallest room in my house so I feel like I have accomplished something when I see a whole room totally clean. Plus, cleaning the toilet insures that there will be a clean potty to sit on when I have to go! :) I hate dirty toilets!

Any sort of cleaning really turns me off, but cooking, grocery shopping, menu planning, going to 3 different stores for the best deals & stopping in a farmer's market on the way home all are very satisfying for me!

I also enjoy grocery, or any shopping for that matter! I also love to wash and fold laundry. I do not love to put it away, but I like folding. I also like to cook and try new recipes.

I hate any type of shopping--grocery included--maybe that's why I hate cooking too! If I had to choose one chore I love it would be vacuuming, but since we switched to laminate there's not much vacuuming these days!
Ironically, I love any cleaning/chore when it can be fully completed. Meaning I find great joy when I can clean the ENTIRE house, but having to clean a room here, and room there drives me bananas! So much so I refuse to do much of the daily cleaning during the week (well except for my kitchen).

I have successfully taken the 'weekend warrior' to new heights. Thankfully tho' I'm blessed with a husband who doesn't mind taking off with the kids for a few hours, so I can clean house! Plus it makes a happy Mama, and well you all know what that means for him--ha ha :0)

I'm sorry, I can't help myself. I love to mow the lawn. I do it better than my husband, and it is so satisfying to see the smooth lawn. I pretend I'm getting a good workout, and can be with my own thoughts.

I also am a world class dishwasher loader. I can get so many dishes into it. Don't like taking them out, though. Oddly, I rarely use the dishwasher, mostly because I won't run it until it is full, and I can't wait that long for the coffee pot.

I like doing the laundry because then I can pretend I'm doing two things at once.

I don't mind vacuuming (see lawn mowing), but I hate to dust.

You know what's really crazy? I really like to go visit my mom and wash dishes by hand at her house. She doesn't have a dishwasher or anything so it's by hand or nothing. I guess maybe I like it so much because I am helping out. I like to wash glass objects by hand too. Maybe I am just weird.

I love to cook and, most of the time, grocery shop. I'm a couponer so it's fun to get great deals when I can. I do love nothing more than a sparkling clean house - if only it would last! LOL I HATE cleaning bathrooms and floors...UGH!

I love to clean anything if there is a big improvement (difference) when I am done. And I love a challenge.

No, not a fan of grocery shopping although I love sitting down to meal plan
( some weeks are not as much fun, but I do enjoy a challenge)
I usually wash dishes in the dishwasher but occassionally I do them by hand and I honestly find it quite relaxing.
I will almost never iron anything because I detest ironing, but I love folding warm towels right out of the dryer.
I dislike cleaning the "boys" bathroom, but I enjoy cleaning mine...probably because I just recently got my own bathroom for the first time in my life and I love walking into a clean bathroom.
I like vacuuming.
I clean other peoples houses for a living, don't ask me why but I like cleaning other peoples homes much more than I do my own, I would venture a guess that this is mainly because when I clean for others I do not have to worry as much about clutter...steadily working on ridding my home of clutter ( throwing stuff away makes me VERY happy!)

I LOVE grocery shopping too! I dont find sitting down with a nice warm fragrant pile of clean laundry either(plus i have two girls, the laundry is always cute) I also love cooking.
