Roofer You Would Recommend...

Our HOA is very strict about the type of shingles we can have on our roof. We currently have the wood shake shingles and have had a couple problems with leaks. Since the HOA will now let us use the composite shingles that look like wood, we decided to go ahead and just get a new roof. My question is does anyone have a good roofer they would recommend? I know it will be expensive, but hopefully this means no more annual repairs and maybe we can even take advantage of the slow economy. Thank you for your help!

I would highly recommend M & M Roofing ###-###-####). They were awesome--no games or gimmicks. I have recommended them to a few friends and they have used them as well and had the same success.

I work for a custom home builder who builds in the $1.5 - 3+ million dollar range. When we build a home that uses the comp roof we use Metro Roofing. They are very reasonable on pricing and they do a wonderful job. I also used them for a repair / re-roof on a dormer room when I moved. M&M Roofing, Inc. (in olathe) is awesome! They replaced our roof last year and did a great job - not 1 single nail in the yard!!! We've reccommended them to a lot of people and everyone has been really happy with them. We worked with Mark.

Hi - we just had our roof done. They tore it down to the sheeting and replaced some damaged boards. They did an awesome job and had it done in a little over a day. The company is Kimbrough Roofing. We got bids from 3 different companies and they were the middle bid - and it was very reasonable! They were also recommended by our City Building Code Enforcer. Hope this helps - good luck!

Depending on how you look at it we've had the good (or bad) fortune to have to use a roofer for many years now. At our old house in olathe and with our current house. We've used the same company the whole time because they are honest, local and reputable. So I would highly recommend Larry Vaught roofing!
Our current house also had wood shake shingles when we first moved here almost 8 years ago that we had to patch, somewhere, every year. We waited until our HOA would permit a re-roof with composite shingles and then used them for the re-roof as well.

Good Luck,
Lori K
