My husband and I are new to the area and are looking for a reliable dentist that isn't rough on your gums, if you know what I mean. We have dentemax insurance and there are tons of DDS listed. I don't even know where to start. Has anyone used dr. larry cao? So far that's the only one with a web page. I also have a 7mth old son, so I would like to find a dds, that works well with kids so we don't have to change in the future....Any suggestions would help!!!!

I have a dentist that is great with kids. His name is Dr. Riggert. My grandson loves him as when he gets dental work done he says that it doesn't hurt. Here is his number if you would like to give them a call to see if they take your insurance. I have been with him now for about 5 years and I think he is great. ###-###-####. My daughter is an RDA with Dr. Richard Keilson and Dr. John Birch, at 103 Scripps Drive in Sacramento. She went to Dr. Keilson as a child, and was never afraid to go to the dentist. She liked the office so much, she wanted to work there! The number is ###-###-####. It's a little farther away, but worth it!

I have been in dentistry in the Sacramento area for over 18 yrs. and my father-in-law has been a dentist in Sacramento for over 30 yrs. If you want to email the list of dentists I would be happy to recommend one if there are any we know. Who is your insurance company? Dentemax is a dental preferred provider network, not your actual insurance company. They are kind of like the middle man, getting dentists to charge a lower fee for referrals. I have found over the years that MOST of the dentists who need to lower their fee to get new patients aren't ones you would want to go to. I personally know many dentists in the Sacramento area who are excellent, and my father-in-law is a Sacramento District Dental Society member and on the editorial board for their periodical so he know so many more. PLEASE email me, there are alot of dentists out there I would NEVER refer to but many that I would send my own family to.
