I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful boys ages 5 yrs. old and 18 mths. I decided to stay home after the birth of my second son. Anyway, I am looking for a job that I can do at home, so I can be there for my boys. My husband is the sole provider and I would like to have an additional income to help us out a little more. I have looked online and all the ones that I have found have wanted me to pay a fee before starting or its a home based business. I don't want to be self-employed it's to much for me right now. I would like to work for someone that will allow me to work at home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also wanted to know if anyone is doing medical transcriptioning, if so, how is that going and what school did you go to. That is something I have been looking into also. Thank you in advance.

I have been looking for the same thing... my sister is a medical transcriptionist in california, you need to get certification in transcribing and you can go to the community college for that, then find a place where they would let you stay home... my sister works for a company named QTC, and she gets her dictations over the internet or phone depending on the doctor, then she just typs the reports and e-mails them back... pretty easy. let me know if i can help.

Hi S.,

I browsed through your responses and it looks like a classified ad section in the paper!!

I have three boys, Cameron is 6, Tristan is 3, and Logan is 11 months. Aren't they a ton of work and tons more fun? Your post caught my eye because you have boys as well and I think us Moms of just boys really have something special in common.

My aunt is a medical transcriber and I was looking into it as well. Here's a website that she uses daily.
http://www.mtdesk.com/frame.php?frame=main
She also said when looking for a school, make sure it is accredited. I searched the internet for MT jobs and found that most of them require experience, so I stopped my search.

Here's a GREAT article I ran across yesterday...
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Working9to5/Story?id=2621388&am...

I did find an at home job that pays well, but it is not a get-rich-quick scheme. The bonus is that I get to stay HOME with my kids, which is what I wanted to begin with.

Feel free to message me if you would like to know more, but I'd rather not post ads in the main forum.

Lots of luck,
R. Donahue

Hello
Well if you want to talk let me know here is something about me and what I do. I know it has let me be a single stay at home mom.

About me-

I started out in Tupperware just wanting a discount. Then it was something to get me out of the house a couple nights a week. Thing changed over the years. I did not know it at the time but it would become a full time career for me. It would have to in order for me to be the stay at home mom that I wanted to be. Just last year I began my journey as a single mom. Everyone has changes in their life. Life is a roller coaster we all have ups and downs. One day I came home as the happy housewife, hours later I would found out my husband had emptied our bank accounts and had not paid any bills in a long time. I was pregnant, had a stack of bills at the door and no money in the bank. At that point my life and my business was in the toilet. I had not had a “real job” in over 7 years. I had not truly worked my Tupperware business in over a year and my account was about to go inactive. I needed money and I needed it now. I found myself hitting the streets and looking for a “real job”. I was not having any luck at all.

One day I was sitting and reading the help wanted ads. I got a call from our new legacy executive director, Geri Zielski. It was her 2 day being my new LED. She asked me what was going on and I told her everything. We talked for a very long time then she said something so simple “Well if you need money now hold a party now!” It was that simple. I got off the phone with her and called a friend he held one 2 days later. I saw that there was money in Tupperware. There had always been I just needed to work my business. Later that week I signed DIQ papers. In 3 weeks I went from being an Inactive Consultant to a Tupperware Director in Qualification and started making the money I needed to buy myself a new truck and pay the bills. Six months after that I became a director. Now I am going on a trip to Hawaii or Disney world.

I tell you my story because it is good to have dreams and goals. We all need them. I would love to help your dreams and personal goals come true.

I would love the opportunity to get to know you… A. C. Tupperware Director www.justTW.com ###-###-####

Hi S.-
Have you checked out Craig's List? In the job section, you can click on telecommuting and it will give you postings for jobs where you can do this. I can't vouch for the legitimacy factor of these, but it may give you some ideas of what is out there.
Best of luck!

I have discovered the GREATEST business opportunity and it is happening right now in America. It's called YTB. You owe it to yourself to check it out. Just imagine, when you travel, YOU get paid the commission. You also make money when other people travel - and - you can make travel a tax deduction. Wouldn't it be nice to make some extra income? Or maybe a lot? Just imagine you making more money than your husband? LOL. Well, after he gets over himself he WILL thank you! (I hope!) ;-) You can call me for more information on my cell at ###-###-####.

Hi S., I am not sure if you ever found anything to do at home. I am 41 years old Mom of two and a Grandma of 1 and have been looking for something to do at home for years. I have never found anything legite. I tried a MLM company for a while, but it was very time consuming. I ended up in Direct Sales. I like it, it gets me out of the house a couple of days of the week and then I do allot of catalog and online parties. The product is great and so is the company. There is only a $25.00 start up fee. If you would like to look further into it my website is http://www.signaturehomestyles.biz/letshavefun. You can call me at ###-###-#### if you have any questions. K.
