We are searching for a pre-k for our 4 yro within a 15 mile radiace of our area 78250. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are searching for a diverse group of children as well as faith based.

We love the jewish community center's program ###-###-####. it's nationally accredited, diverse, and very loving.
We looked at a few here around Tezel Road. Many faith-based programs are only Mother's Day Out programs - Crossroads and NW Hills are good ones I checked into.
Also, Giant Steps on Old Tezel has a very thorough preK program and offers PT & FT. If you're looking for a kinder-type program that would be it!
Christ Lutheran ###-###-#### and MacArthur Park Lutheran Preschool ###-###-#### I don't know how far this is from you. Not good at "San Antonio" yet. I just found these two places. I believe San Antonio Day School on Jung offers an pre-k program as well.
I have a very good friend who is the owner/director of The Mustard Seed Early Learning Center. It is located on Galm Road off 1560 in Helotes. Her name is Roxy and there website is www.mustardseedelc.com
It is not just a preschool, as they take all ages, but I loved them and just can't continue to use them due to gas prices. I live in Notheast SA, but work near 1H10. I was going completely out of my way to get to this center. I highly recommend them.
I work down the street from The UUMC Pre-School that was mentioned, and I have heard wonderful things about it. I just can't use them as my daughter is only 10 months and the hours don't work with my work schedule.

There is the University United Methodist Dayschool off of Dezavala and Vance Jackson. Wonderful teachers and clean and very safe for the little ones. I'm a sub there and all three of my kids have been there and started at the age of two. There is usually a waiting list for people wanting to put their kids in. You would love it!!! K. B.
I now have a 10 year old, but she went to Joyland Christian Learning Center on Reed Road at 1604 near Military Drive. Ms. Carolyn is wonderful(if she is still there!)

There is a great Pre-K thru 6th grade at Village Parkway Baptist Church, on Village Parkway and Culbera. My son went there for the past 5 years. The Pre-K is exceptional.
You might want to check out a church in your area. They have Mother's Day Out, 2 days out of the week. If you are looking for daycare, all week, I suggest looking up Country Home in your area. We are very pleased with the one on Fredericksburg Road. There is a Country Home located on Poss, off of Grissom and Bandera.
