Seeking Advice for Crib Toys

My son had torticollis as an infant and the best thing that worked for us was this cheap little mirror that went in. It just had two velcro pieces that stuck it to the rails of the crib and it would stay in place. I dont remember the name but we got it at like Walmart or Target. His physical therapist recommended the mirror and we tried all sorts of toys that lit up or had bright colors but he just loved looking at himself in the mirror.

We love the Fischer-Price crib soother!

My LO loves the Fisher Price Aquarium that I attached to the crib. The fish moves and makes water noises. It also has lights.

Our daughters loved it. The angling feature is great, and it ties to the crib with short ties.

You can hang it on the side of the crib or they can play with it on the floor. There are 2 sides... one is more advanced than the other.

Another great thing is to hang a mirror (a child safe one obviously).

My daughter had torticollis. Best thing is tummy time outside of the crib and to get her to reach for toys on both sides of her body.

When my son was little he liked two toys - the fisher price aquarium (battery operated) and the fisher price kick and play piano. Both have changed a bit in the 6 years since my son used them but I think they would do the trick for you.

A mirror. Babies loves mirrors. There is one (don't remember the brand - starts with an "s", I think!) that is a mirror that tilts down towards the baby and his toys on the frame part of the mirror - things you can pull, turn, squish, etc. Can also be put on the floor for tummy time later on. No batteries or anything needed.

The "Miracles and Milestones Track and Play Center" is aweseome. The smiley face at the top moves slowly back and forth so that a child can move his/her eyes to track it. My son loves this toy in his crib. It's easy to attach, and the batteries last a good, long time, too (Bonus!!)

I also think the Fisher Price Kick and Play Piano is awesome. Both my kids loved it. They didn't operate it by kicking so much, but you can set it to keep playing music. It will continuously play short, upbeat songs with flashing lights above the keys. Babies love it and will watch it for a long time.

you could try putting a mirror although for any case of torticollis i recommend getting physical therapy. it worked for my daughter and it didn't take long for getting rid of it. it did cause flat spot on her head and then we had to deal with correcting that flat spot. thats my advice

My suggestion would be to buy a baby mirror so that he can entertain himself with himself. Babies don't know who they're looking at but are fascinated by "the baby" in the mirror. Also, my newphew had that condition and a chiropractor was immensly helpful.
