Hi,
I recently requested some info on preschools from my fellow mamasource.com moms---thanks! However I talked to my hubby and he really wants our kids to go to Catholic school. I was raised in a jewish home but don't have a religious preference, I just want my children to have faith. It's important to my husband because he does have a preference, so catholic it is (I think I need some faith in my life too). So joining a church is my goal right now and finding an excellent catholic school for my boys is priority. I would prefer to go to a church that offers school so it's all in one place but it's not a must.
Does anyone have an opinion as a church and/or school regarding St. Annes in Gilbert? Corpus Christi in Ahwatukee? or St Andrew in Tempe?
Does anyone have an opinion on the best catholic school?
Does anyone have an opinion on the best Catholic Church?
Driving isn't an issue however I would prefer east valley.
Please advise, any information and/or thoughts are welcome.
Thanks

Hi,
I was raised at Christ the King in Mesa. Didn't attend school their, only church & r.e. But we loved it. I was married & had my 1st child baptised their also. They have an excellent school. k-8. I would love to send my son their but its a 30 mile drive so he attends a public school by our house. But if we ever move back to Mesa it would be our 1st choice.

Well, I know you're searching for Catholic schools/churches, but I thought I'd still make a suggestion anyhow.... I was raised Catholic and couldn't think of going to church anywhere else. However, after I met my hubby (who grew up Assembly of God), we decided to attend a non-denominational Christian church serving God and sharing the truth of the gospel. I developed a more intimate relationship with Christ than I ever had before. Plus, we have both been amazed with the hospitality and family atmosphere at Grace Community Church. I've worked first hand as a volunteer with the kids ministry and they have an excellent Sunday school program and staff. I couldn't imagine their regular academic program as being any less successful. Web info included.

Good Luck and blessings to you and your family!

I'm a member at St. Mary's in Chandler. My kids go to public school but I have friends who's kids go to St. Mary's and really like it.
