So What Happened?

Thanks to all of you who gave me advice. I really appreciate it. I originally made an appt with Dr. Pardini but couldn't get in until January. After reading a few reviews on a dr. review site and hearing from one review on this website I made an appt. to see Dr. Chun. It was pretty easy to get in to see her. Do people think there will be a language barrier or something that her schedule is more open? She grew up in L.A.! There is no language barrier. Anyway I thought she was very nice and allowed me time to ask any questions and she was quite informative. She even gave me a book on what to expect in pregnancy. I thought that was nice. No doctor ever gave me a full size book before! Thank you Mary K. for letting me know about having her deliver a child b/c that is hopefully my plan. It's one thing to get a pap smear and something very different to have her deliver a child so your information makes me feel better about my decision. I'm cancelling my January appt with the other doctor. Thanks again and wish me luck with conceiving a child!!!!

I currently see Dr. Brown-Sullivan at Aurora BayCare. She is great. Always takes her time with me and answers all my questions even if they are nonsense questions. She delivered my son and will shortly deliver my twin girls. If you question something about your body she will check into it right away. I had great care. Hopefully you will find someone just as good.

Personally I know that most women want a female OB but I didn't get so lucky and even before he became my doctor he delievered my daughter. My doc got called away to a surgery or something and I couldn't ask for a better Doctor than Brian Dobbins and St. Mary's site prevea! He's awesome right down to all the first time questions! also the Np's there are awesome.... If anyone else knows Fran you know what I am talking about! E.

Hi Marie:

It depends on your insurance coverage and who's in your network. I would recommend Dr. Yun Chun with Bellin Medical Arts Building or Dr. Danielle Bridge with Prevea at St. Mary's site. Both are excellent!!!

If you're okay with a nurse practicioner, I highly recommend Lynnette Clancy or Melissa Lynch at the St. Mary's site. I have seen them both and they are wonderful. They take the time to really listen to you, address your concerns, are gentle with the exam, and are great about answering questions.

I'm not a big fan of Prevea in general, but these NPs are great.
