Seeking Good Hair Salon Around the Culver City Area

I go to Natasha Sunshine, the owner of byu-ti salon on Wilshire in Santa Monica (between 5th & 6th). She is amazing - she's one of those people who have a a special gift, haircutting is not merely a job to her. She is very intuitive, confident, and she listens. I know someone great. She's a SAHM , but worked at the Beverly Hills Hotel for years and also at YUKI on Sunset Plaza for years. She will come to your house or you to hers (She's in Encino). Hi L., I can't say enough wonderful things about Roya at Frege Salon in Westwood on Westwood Blvd. She's been cutting, styling, and coloring my hair for close to 10 years. She's all that you describe-she listens to what you want but also isn't afraid to make a decision for you-and she's never steered me wrong. On top of that, she's kind, loving, and fairly priced.

If you can, try to get the first appointment of the day, it's easier to park on Westwood Blvd. then. If you can't the valets at the Garden restaurant around the corner will valet for Frege, check with the receptionist to make sure that's still the case. I live near by and walk there so I haven't used the valet service in over a year.

I go to Cameron at John Peri in Marina Del Rey which is right next to Jerry's Famous Deli. The number is ###-###-####. Cameron is the best. He knows how to do an extremely flattering cut and I have received compliments on the coloring and highlighting he has done on my hair.

I really liked the Doves in Santa Monica, and it's nice because they can either style you out or not, you pay for everything a la cart. If you stop by their salon, too, sometimes they're offering new client specials!

I don't know of any hair salon in culver city.But I do know of a place in pasadena. And it is called Pasadena Beauty Supply. Their is this girl name Linda that really does good hair and she will listen to you. Girl!! I understand how you feel. And remember L. you are paying your money Ok!! to get your hair done.If they aren't going to give you what you want LEAVE!!

I love Michael Ehlert--he opened his own salon called Salon ME in Culver City. I haven't been there yet, because now I live in Silverlake, but I used to go to him when he worked at the Burke-Williams spa in Santa Monica. Good luck!
