Hello- is anyone out there familiar with the different fat burners on the market? I have about 10 pounds to lose and have been exercising and watching what I eat but not having much luck with weight loss. I am on synthroid- a thyroid medication to help boost my thryoid but wasn't sure if anyone has tried anything that works. I don't want anything that will make me feel jittery or racing heartbeat.

What can I do next?

Hi K.. I've found a great supplement that you actually take at night. Its all natural and works with your metabolism in ways that your body is already familiar with. I've seen it really tip the balance toward weight loss for people who are already doing everything right (exercise, stress reduction, and good diet). It also helps you get a great night's sleep. If you want more info, private message or email me at ____@____.com.

Dear K.,
I had a similar situation as your's & it was VERY frusterating. I have a few suggestions that I found success with.
#1 Synthroid (is just what it says: Synthetic Thyroid) I was on this for months, felt jittery & it did NOT absorb correctly therefore I still felt poor. My "other" doctor switched me to Armour thyroid (Made by Armour hotdog company) Natural & absorbable form of thyroid.

#2 I exercised for a year 3x a week with little to no weightloss, before I got on a correct dose of thyroid, so ask your dr. to take more blood tests, and if I start to feel poorly we re-adjust my dosage.

#3 I did meal replacements with bars I made from Figure 8 shake powder (high protien, low sugar mixes) www.naturallylovely.myarbonne.com along with salad for lunch & a yummy dinner. I stayed around 1300 calories a day for 4 weeks and lost 12 lbs. I did not get rid of carbs, you need them to think & function along with LOTS of green veges. YOU CAN DO IT!!! :0) If you need any help, encouragement, ideas please message me. G

I'm a Personal Wellness Coach with Herbalife. The Herbal Concentrate Tea is fabulous. I have a friend who was fine drinking this tea while on her thyroid medication. It boosts your metabolism and helps burn fat. I dropped 5% in body fat percentage on Herbalife after having my 2 kids. You can check out my website www.shopherbalife.com/O. or feel free to contact me with any questions at 800-850-0609.

Hi K.,
You may want to consider a cleanse. Fat cells hold toxins and when your body holds toxins, it will hold water to protect from the toxins.
Good luck.

Hi K.,

I would be cautious about ANYTHING that promises to make you lose weight just by taking a pill or a powder. Read carefully about hcg and other steroids before taking them. The best advice I can give you is to try the Paleo diet for 1 month. I had a similar issue where I just couldn't seem to lose weight despite working out and watching what I ate. I did a vegetarian cleans for 1 week and ate a strict paleo diet for 4 weeks and the pounds came off...I continued working out of course!

Good Luck!

Are you taking the thyroid medicine because you have thyroid problems? If you don't have thyroid problems you shouldn't be taking it just to lose weight, it can mess up your thyroid, making it so you HAVE to take it. You will have to take it for the rest of your life if you have thyroid problems or bring it on. Be careful. The best way I found to lose weight was to run and tone muscle. Try Tammy Lee Web's Buns of Steel, Arms and Abs of Steel, etc. I also like Tae Bo. You could also try swimming. A lot of people I have talked to swear that swimming is the best way to go if you want to lose weight. I can see why-you are using all of your muscles and you're burning tons of calories and fat. Good Luck!!

Have you heard of hcg? People are having a lot of success with it. It's natural hormone drops you put under your tongue. Hcg is the hormone a woman's body releases when she is pregnant to signal her body to access it's stored fat in order to nourish the baby. So if you have hcg in your system without being pregnant, when your body is signalled to access your stored fat it just gets burned away, since there's no baby for it to go to. You can get a 23-day supply for $67 at www.healthyhcg.com. There is also more info there if you want to read more about it.
