Does anyone know how their services are priced - by the room, by the hour?

I have used someone that is GREAT! She lives in Frisco - her website is under construction but has her contact info on it - her name is Lindsay Hines.... www.livingroombylindsay.com
She charges $35 for a room consultation - then from there you can use her or not. She will do as little or as much as you want her to. Awesome!!! :)

There is a decorator's warehouse in Frisco off of Main and 423, they have decorators there and they are $40 per hour. The owner is great. She uses professional people, but cheap rates b/c she was tired of paying the high prices herself. Its called Decorator's Choice. The phone number is ###-###-####. Her website is www.decoratorschoice.biz and the address is 15222 King Rd Suite 1002 Frisco, Tx 75034. It is a warhouse, but it's unbelieveable inside. They have everything, even furniture. They also can make arrangements. She told me if I didn't want to spend the money on having the decorators come out I could take pic and bring them in and they would help.
I was very impressed. Nice stuff, great prices!

My friend charges $50 an hour, but she takes you to market and all the furniture and accessories you buy are at cost so you don't have to pay any mark-up.

I have an interior design company. Normally it is by the hour, and can range from $60.00 to $100's per hour. My partner & I charge $65.00, but we give a free consultation. Please feel free to call me if you would like us to come by.

I'm in the process of using Ginny's Interiors in McKinney. My husband gave me a gift certificate for them. Two ladies came out for about an hour. They gave color suggestions and one lady was the curtain expert. We painted walls and just love them. We have a few more things to do before the ladies come back out to fix our own things around the room. I have a credit at their store for the amount of the certificate. They charge a consulting fee but give you the same in credit at the store so you are either paying for their consulting time or for merchandise from the store.
I also have a friend whose sister owns a business. If you are interested, pm me.

We've used several different Interior Decorators over the years at my boss' home. They usually price based on the project and hours.
For instance, if I called my fave, Stuart Axelson Designs, I could tell him what my overall budget is for a project and he could tell me what type of help I can afford within that budget. Sometimes it's only some planning help and maybe a "push & shove" (making your things work within the space) and sometimes it's a complete room tear-down and rebuild. But the best decorators will work with you on your expectations and needs compared with the budget your working with.
If I can help anymore, let me know.

The interior decorator that I used charged by the hour. If you use someone you should do some research prior to them arriving so that you have a good idea of what you would like to do. Good luck! We used someone in Mansfield if you would like her info let me know.

It depends on what you want. Call Ginny's Interiors ###-###-####...I think it's by the hour if they work w/your stuff, ie, what you already have...and by the room if you want them to bring stuff in. -A.

It depends on the decorator and the job. Most will come and give you a free estimate or come look at what you need done and then discuss what works best based on what you need done. Don't be intimidated to ask up front and be honest about what you have to spend.
