I just recently found out that I am pregnant. I took two home pregnancy test. Both positive of course!!! I have a five yr old son and the experience has been great!!! I am hoping that I will have another boy. I have heard that if you eat certain foods that it will make a boy. Have you heard of this before or anything in reference to this kind of theory? If so can you guys please give me some feedback or some references. I am really really hoping that I can determine this baby's gender early some way some how.

If you do have a girl you will LOVE her just as much! Having a girl is just so much fun! I can see where you are coming from, having one girl now I wonder if I will hope for another girl!
It's a little late now... As the previous poster has pointed out, gender selection takes place at conception. Look at it this way, you have about a 50% chance it will be a boy. ;)
Children are such a wonderful gift! Don't worry about the sex of the baby - you will adore the baby whatever the sex may be!
the baby's gender was determined at the moment of conception. you already either have a boy or a girl.
Little boys do definitely love their mommies, but think of all the cute pinkness if you do have a girl. I think you'll be extremely happy either way. =)
