one of my dearest friend just bought a Joovy brand sit and stand stroller for her 3 year old and 1 month old. They have used it everyday for a couple weeks now and just love it. It came highly recommended by several other friends. Hope this helps!

We bought the Joovy Sit and Stand and although it is not the perfect stroller, it is relatively inexpensive and works well for us. Our two year old doesn't always sit or stand on the back, but she can easily jump on and off when she wants to and if we need her to ride she will. I like it and would recommend it. Hope this helps!

I too have a Baby Trend Sit N Stand. These are the things I like about it:
It was inexpensive (about $120 last summer)
It drives smoothly.
It has a roomy basket and a nice parent tray, and the child tray and overhead umbrella are removable.
It's easy to fold up.
I can buckle up my toddler, or if he doesn't want to be confined or just wants to rest for a few minutes, it's easy for him to hop on and off.

Negatives:
The infant front seat doesn't recline back very far, so a sleeping baby doesn't get to lie down too much.
The basket isn't very convenient to get to.
The seats offer plenty of room for both children, but neither are extremely comfortable so if you plan to use the stroller for long periods of time, they might get fussy.

I don't know what brand we had, but we had the same "hit him in the head" problem, but even without the infant seat. I think the big thing here is, like any big purchase, go into the store for a a test drive, otherwise it is hit or miss, even with recommendations. Those will tell you what to look for, but ultimately it comes down to what works best for you.

I bought mine from Babies R Us and it's the Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller by: JOOVY. I had to buy the parent kit so I had a place for my water, keys and kleenex. It works fine for what I need it for but too bad it didn't come with a parent caddy or this band that I bough that wraps around the handle bars.

It's hard to steer but I have the same issue with the Graco Duoglider double stroller. It's just the weight of having two kids agest 3.5 and 1.5 I think.

I like that it's smaller than the Graco Duoglider. To unfold and fold is not that bad. It is an extra step to lock the wheels but not a big deal. It handles a bit more weight in total than the Duoglider. I took my kids out on our one and only all day with this stroller and my oldest fell asleep sitting upright and it would have been nice to lay her down but not a reason to not buy this.

I'm glad I purchased mine but because of my oldest falling asleep that one time I'll be using the Duoglider for all day outings. If you do many of those and your children get sleepy then I'd advise the Duoglider.

we have a smallish 4 year old little boy & are expecting #2 anytime. our son is about 3-3.5 feet tall & about 34 pounds soaking wet.

we tried the joovy & he just wasn't comfortable. he felt like the infant carseat poked him in the back. since you're past that point, it might not be an issue for you (well, unless you're planning on having more kids).

we ended up buying a babytrend sit & stand. it seemed to be more roomy both for our son & in the basket storage.

We also have the Joovy sit and stand - and I LOVE IT! it does have a smaller storage space, but it doesn't bother me too much.

I personally feel like it handles and drives better than my single stroller.

The only problem I've had is that with an infant seat in the front, my older child has to sit kinda leaning forward. But now that it's time to move my infant out of the carrier it shouldn't be as much of a problem.

Again, I can't say enough good things about it.

I recently had my second child and bought a joovy caboose ist and stand stroler. I realy like it, but it does not fit into tight spaces as well as i would like and my daughter can drag her feet on the ground when sitting in the back, however, I use the car seat option right now and once my son is big enough to sit without the car seat I think it will work better. It does not have a lot of storage space, but i would not recomened spending the extra $30.00 for the parent organizer, it does not hold water bottles well and I quit using it. I do think that they are a good investment if you do any amount of traveling or walking and they work well at the park.

We have the the sit and stand stroller from one step ahead. It has a roomy basket, 2 cup holders and a little tray to place keys or whatnots. It is easy to handle and to fold up.

i agree, go to the stores and try them out. We first bought the joovy one and returned it the next day because our son couldn't hardly sit in the back when the front seat was in the recline position. we then got the baby trend and love it

We have the JOOVY Sit and Stand stroller for our 2 and 4 year olds. I love it! The only downside is that the basket underneath is fairly small. I was willing to deal with that for the size and weight, it's a lot lighter weight than some of the others we looked at.

We just bought a Sit n Stand Plus and I love everything about it except the access to the basket underneath. I am sure it will be better once I have the seat/stand part and take off the back seat. It maneuvers wonderfully, is comfortable for the kids and folds nice. It is not heavy either. I can't lift too much, but this stroller I have no problem floding and unfolding or putting in our car.

I have the Joovy sit n' stand and can't say enough about it. It's light, yet tough. It handles rocky terrrain like a champ, and easy to push. It's easy to open and close, which was a big deal for me. Its upholstery is easy to wipe clean. For me the storage was plenty big. I've been able to stuff my down jacket, my husband's down jacket, my two son's down jackets in it, and a diaper bag in mine if that gives you an idea on it's storage capabilities.

We have the Baby Trend sit n stand and I really like it. There customer service is terrible though. I needed to replace the front seat cover and they sent me the wrong one and kept saying it was my fault and also mailed it to the wrong address twice and blamed that on me too. If you don't need customer service it is a great and very reasonale stroller.

we also purchased the baby trend sit n- stand. it was the only sit and stand stroller that i could find that comfortably fit both girls. all of the other brands poked my oldest in the back when she sat down. not comfortable, i'd imagine.

for a double stroller, i like it. it only carries up to 40 pounds for each seat. and my oldest is reaching that marker (at 4). so, not sure how much longer i'll use it. i usually carry both my single stroller and my sitn-stand in my van and pull them out according to where we are going, and if my oldest can walk that long.

it's worked well for us.
