Skin Care Product

I'm not a rep, but I LOVE my Mary Kay products and they have helped my skin a ton in just the area you're talking about. However, since that does not work for you, I have also used Arbonne in the past and thought their product was also fantastic; they have several products that tighten skin and reduce pore size. I really liked the product, I just went back to MK because it was more affordable and I liked it just as much. I'd give Arbonne a try.

Have you ever tried Arbonne? There is a Pore Minimizing Mask that is AMAZING! It is in the NutriminC Re9 line. I am a rep and that is not the only reason I am responding. I agree with Jennifer from the previous post, you should try Olay Regenerist. The one I use is the microsculpting cream. When I first tried it my face looked better, fresher and more sculpted. I would have never tried it if a friend hadn't told me that research has shown that it is better than the several hundred dollar ones. It is around $30 I will go back and buy again.

Hi L.! I am coming up on my 28th year and decided to start taking care of my face early. I read nearly every product label on the shelves one day and decided to go with oil of olay moisturizer-the one that says that it has seven anti-aging ingredients. One of them says that it has a pore reducer which i loved because the pores on my face were way to big i used it and the next morning i couldn't believe it! My pores were perfect and my face looked so wonderful! I really suggest that you use this product, you won't be sorry!

I was playing at Sephora and there was a product called Pore No More...

I tried it on half of my nose and I could see a difference still in the morning. I've been meaning to go back and get some.

FYI it was in the expensive section at the back, but I don't remember the price.

I'm sorry to hear that Mary Kay doesn't work for you (don't worry, not a rep just a long-time user). It's the best thing I've ever used for my skin. BUT . . . when we first moved I couldn't find a rep so I tried Merle Norman on the advice of my grandmother. She has used it for years and looks at least 10 years younger than she is (and used to look 15 years or more younger but her health has begun to catch up to her). There are Merle Norman stores everywhere and they'll give you a free personalized facial if you call for an appointment - no strings attached. I liked the product really well and used it for about a year, but it is more expensive than MK which is why I reverted back. Good luck with whatever you try!

I have used MK for the past few years and love it, but also have used Clinique Skin Care in the past and it was great too. A friend of mine swears by Sephora.

I hope you find a good product that you feel confident in! With that being said, pores can not actually be reduced. They can appear smaller with make up and lighting. Now, if your pores are full of dirt, oil, and bacteria they can be swollen. Therefore, if you want them to look smaller, keep them from swelling by cleaning and exfoliating religiously! Also use a good moisturizer made for your skin type. Since I can't see your face to reccomend a product, the smartest thing you can do is go to a GOOD spa and have a facial. Let an expert guide you. You don't have to buy their products and you can tell them that right up front, but they will give you good advice, guidance and education on the best ingredients to look for in skin products. The Crescent Court Spa in downtown is where I go and they have never pressured me into buying things with "false" promises of moviestar good looks!

Have you tried a at home microdermabrasion system?
That really helps.
I prefer the mary kay one because it gives a 2nd step that actually calms and neutralizes skin. People who don't wear anything else mk can use it, because it is aluminum oxide crytals like they use at dermatoligist/plastic surgeon office.

I am in love with Mychelle Skin Care. It is a natural skin care line that does not have all the icky chemical additives that so many companies use. It is sold at Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Central Market. You can read it about online at their website as well. The best part is you can purchase a sampler pack to try out the line before you commit. I have never been happier with my skin, especially because there are not harmful additives in it. and my skin looks great. You can customize the line to find the products that work for your skin. Hi L., I have been using Queen Helen Mint Julip face mask since high school. It's cheap and easy to get, less than $5 at CVS. So if you don't like it-no big loss. It tightens pores for sure.

I started using Lush which is at North Park. I use a charcoal bar since I have oily skin and love it! Also, mixing some visine or clear eyes in with your foundation helps some.

Hi L.! I use and love Nicole Miller makeup. You can only get it through ordering by a catalog. It is made by a Wellness company and she uses natural ingredients. I have really sensitive skin and have had to be extremely careful in what I use. But when I tried Nicole Miller, I didn't have one break-out. In fact, I love this line and all the ones the company has that I have actually started working for them from home. Can't help with the size of the pores, but I love to use the exfoliating gloves/washcloths sold in the make up area to keep my skin feeling soft and clean.

My Dad is 85 and had started to develop a yellowish crusty looking appearance on his forehead (the doctor said it was dead skin - can build up on older people over time). I gave him one of those gloves and the yellow crud is gone and he looks a lot younger now.

I have oily skin and used to get pimples quite easily and often even as an adult. Since I'm over 50, I also had started to develop wrinkles between my eyebrows and on my forehead. Since I've started using the rough scrubby gloves and cloths, I don't get pimples and my skin looks a lot younger and the wrinkles have nearly disappeared.
