So What Happened?

I am travelling with car always and holding him in carrier when walking so I didn't buy stroller earlier, but now he has grown over 12 Kg, and I am feeling tired soon, so I bought stroller now

You might want to try wearing him in a baby carrier, like an Ergo (kinda pricey - around $125), or something very similar.

He knows that if he cries you will come to his rescue. Then he gets what he wants . . . to be held by you. Wait a month and when you are ready to let him cry it out, then put him in the stroller. The best time to do this is when he is starting to be tired and you know he will fall asleep for a nap.

Good luck to you and yours.

I would put my kids in the stoller with a divided rubbermaid container with some cheerios and strawberries and a cookie and a sippy cup, strap them in, and walk for 45 minutes every morning. They also had toys we reserved for just the stroller. Start from home, walk, and let him cry. If you do it at nap time he might fall asleep. I agree that he has trained you to pick him up, and if you want him to sit you are going to have to let him sit and cry for a week every day and then he will probably realize he might as well enjoy the long walk.

Yeah, my daughter also hates the stroller, so I wore her in a Beco until she was old enough to walk on her own.

Give him a snack or special toy a few times so he gets used to it. He will soon realize it is fun. He is too young to be allowed to walk but you can also consider getting an Ergo. It distributes the weight and lots of moms love it.

It is because he cannot see you.

I would never have been able to carry my 1 year old around. She was just too big for me. I am a small woman, so understand you dilemma.

I think at home put him in it and have it facing your husband.see if that helps. Or have your husband place and push him in it while he can see you. Give him a toy, some snacks. Walk with your husband while you push the stroller. Do they make mirrors that clip pinto strollers so you can see your son and he can see you?

Is this his first experience in a stoller? If so, then how did he get around before now? Or is it just a new stroller? Maybe he prefers or is attached to the old stroller? If that is the case, go back to the old stroller, or get a new stroller that is similar. How about let him walk along beside the stroller until he gets tired, then put him in it.
