Stroller for a Tall Dad??

Hi K. I've never heard of a stroller for an adult. You didn't say why a man who's 6'7" needs a stroller.

I would recommend the phil and ted's. It has an adjustable handle bar and you can add a seat to make it work for two kids. We have a 2 year old and almost 4 year old and when we travel we still use it for both - it is nice to have the option for the older child on those long walks! As for a smaller stroller, the Macclaren is great it too has adjustable handles....

Bugaboo Cameleon, it has an adjustable handle... I would try it out at Land of Nod or Right Start, but I ordered mine at bugaboostrollers.com and didn't have to pay tax or shipping.. which saves alot! Best Stroller ever!

I'm 5'9" in stocking feet and I ordered a Maclaren because the handles are higher. It made a huge difference to not have to bend over while pushing the stroller. I'm not sure if they will be high enough for 6'7" but they are definitely higher than other brands.

We had a Zooper boogie, which had an adjustable handle, but it just adjusted by angling up or down. My husband is 6'5" and it was ok for him, but at the lower end of comfortable. I suggest going down to a high-end baby store like Galt downtown, or Beautiful Beginnings (or if you're in the 'burbs, wherever you'd go) and just trying a bunch. I really don't get *why* they don't make stroller handles for taller people - I'm 5'10" and even I have trouble with most of them. It's stupid.

Mountain Buggy made in Australia is the stroller for a tall person. My daughters father is 6 3" and the adjustable holding bar was one of reasons this stroller was purchased. Durable and super easy to manuver! We used it every day for the first 2 yrs of her big city life. After owning it for 4.5 yrs the stroller has only had one part replaced, a wheel. Worth every penny.

I am 6' tall, my husband 6'2" and have a brother that is 6'11" and we have all found the MacLaren strollers to have longer handles. We use the Volo but it is more of an umbrella. I have no experience with any stroller with adjustable handles. See what MacLaren has to offer.

I was a professional nanny for twenty years and have used a lot of different strollers. I am not super tall, but at 5'8" most stroller hurt my shoulders because the handles were not long enough. When I had my son I looked all around and I love my Chicco Cortina Stroller. I took my son to work with me for a year and I commuted by train, so I used the stroller daily. It is now two years old and I haven't had a problem yet. My son is on the big size, 37 inches and 33 lbs, and he still has tons of room in the stroller. Plus, a super bonus if you go with the Chicco Cortina Travel System(stroller and car seat), the car seat is rank the highest in saftey. Second choice for a car seat would be the Graco Snug ride. Sorry just had to put that in there.

I don't have any personal recommendations but, if you look on strollers.com they have an entire selection of strollers with adjustable height handles. Just do a search for that phrase and they have many to consider, ranging in price from less than $200 to over $1000. Of course nothing beats trying them out at the store, but the website might give you a place to start, and it also has customer reviews. I have also seen a separately purchased handle extender, but they are harder to find. Good luck in your search.

my husband is 6'7" too and we have the bugaboo cameleon - expensive but worth every penny! we are using with baby # 2 and the riding board for big brother.
you can also find handle extension handles for some other models but one of the many reasons we opted to spend the $$ on the bugaboo camelon was the adjustable height handles for my husband! of course, i love it too!

We had the same consideration with me at 5'5" and dad at 6'4". After trying out a few, we opted for Chicco Cortina. The handle can be changed to 3 different heights. It is comfortable for my hubby.

The stroller had other things that were important to us: one hand fold up/down, full recline, removable tray for little one, drink space and covered compartment for keys/phone/whatever, big basket, access to the basket while in full recline, and handle in one piece (instead of two handles... I hate that!). It's easy to clean, too.

It's on the heavier side and a little bigger than we wanted it to be when folded up. Of course, it is no different than the majority of full-size strollers. I guess we wanted all the features of a full-size in a lightweight stroller.

There was a waiting list for it when we bought two years ago, fyi. We didn't get the travel system, but Chicco Cortina travel system was rated quite high at the time.

Yup, the Chicco Cortina is awesome!!!! I am 6'1 and love it! It is light and my son really likes being in it. It just takes up alot of room but they all do!

Hi K.- we had a Quinny Buzz and really loved it. We still love it but my son is now 3 1/2 and has thought that strollers are for babies not big boys since he was about 2 1/2. :) Quinny's are great for tall people- my husband is tall too. We mainly bought the stroller because we liked the design but soon fell in love with how easy it was to handle. My only regret is that we didn't buy it from day one and felt like we wasted money on bad strollers. I agree with you, investing in a good, well-made stroller is well worth it!
