Hi Ladies!
Has anyone been on the new weight watchers program? Since I have been pregnant it has changed, I obviously havent been on it since then. With the old program I was able to just use the etools from home with great success. I never went to the meetings because I dont have time. I was talking to a friend about the new program and she said its bascially impossible unless you go to the meetings. Any input? I really dont want to go to the meetings, plus the program costs twice as much if you do meetings too.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Yay! Thank you ladies, I am so excited to start it again, but my friend had me panicking about it! I loved weight watchers!
Proudmomma- NO, I very rarely ate ww foods. Maybe the little snacks here and there, but not regularly. But mainly just learned what to eat based on the program. I love it because you can go out to eat and still have plenty of options. After my last baby I lost 40 lbs from ww. Yeah, I like to gain a ton when Im pregnant and make my babies nice and plump. LOL! Makes me feel better to say that anyways. ;)

Im so glad you all are doing great! Congrats on your success!

Can you eat your own food or do you have to order the meals through WW?

I'm doing it right now and really like it. I've lost 21.2 since Jan 4. I do go to the meetings though since I do better when I'm actually facing someone. But I don't see why you can't do it online. The only thing the meetings have is the "pep talk" and some information to help stay on track. It could easily be done online. The payment plan I'm doing lets me log on to the e-tools and get everything I need online also. Alot of the information I see there is what we cover in the meetings. Good luck !

I joined WW online b/c I don't have the time to go to meetings either, and I find it super easy to use. I didn't use the old system, so I can't compare; however, I find the new system super easy. I love it and highly recommend it.

I've lost a lot of weight very easily on the program and I don't feel like it has taken a lot of effort to lose the weight. I just had to learn to make the right food choices and measure oils, etc., that I use for cooking.

Give it a try -- you'll probably love it.

I have an online program that you can use and their are no meetings. It is only $2.99 a week. You can go to http://teambeachbody.com/signup?referringRepId=80518 to see what you get with your Club Membership. I would love to answer any questions you might have about this program as well.

Yea, your friend is wrong. Both dh & I have been on WW online for a month, never been to a meeting, and we're both doing great! The tools are easy to use and it's easy to follow; no meetins necessary!

I have been doing it since Feb 12 and am doing a total of 11.8 pounds. I have been to meetings, but can't stay every week. It is amazing and so easy. I'm not sure why doing it online only would be hard now and was easy before, it's the same thing basically. The new program focuses on fat, carbs, protein, and fiber. So easy!!

I am doing it online and have no problems with it. I have lost 15 pounds so far--though getting sick last week kind of helped :)
I am easily able to follow the program, logging in my food. The logging in is actually what has helped the most because I can really make sure I am staying away from the junk. The new program really seems to encourage fruits and veggies as well as the right protein.
The one thing I have noticed is that a Lean Cuisine might be marked as 6 points under the old program but the new will say it is 7 or 8. The same with other foods that you might have known the point value.
