Tubes in Ears

My 3 yr old daughter is getting tubes put in in January and having her adnoids taken out. I am currently seeing Dr.Mcclay @ Childrens in the ENT dept.I think it is best to research a doctor that can get it done as quickly as possible and has done many of these surgeries w/ success.My doctor is booked till next year reason I have to wait till January. I think a private doctor would be best.

Well getting tubes is so great. It worked wonders for my daughter. She got them at 2yrs and they just fell out not to long ago. She is hardly ever sick so I think the tubes helped. I used Dr. Strange off 8th ave in FTW. He was really good and super fast. I had bought a hot chocolate and didnt even get to finish it b-4 he came out and said they were done. He is really good w/ kids and his office visits are very quick...never waited more than 5min for my apt! Well good luck and I wish ya the best.

We had Dr John Moore do tubes for our kids. He did tubes on two of my kids and adnoids on two of them. He did my 14 year old adnoids when he was 6 and just recently did my 2 year olds tubes and adnoids. He is great with the kids and the worried and scared mommies!!

I have not but just wanted to tell you good luck!! Christmas Eve last year my son had his adnoids removed and tubes put in his ears. The worst part was him coming out of it after surgery. We went home he took a long nap, and afterwords he was a new kid!! It was amazing. He began talking more and walking better. We went to Christmas Eve about 3 hours away, and my family was amazed that you couldn't tell he had the surgery!! Good luck!

I don't know Dr Matheny. But my son just had tubes put in two weeks ago. We used Dr Murray at ENT for children (www.entforchildren.net). Office is in Coppel, has surgery clinics in NRH and Plano. We were very happy with him and his staff. Good luck.

We used Dr. Peskind many years ago for my son's tubes. He is now 9 and after his surgery he was a new child....very happy!

Our got tubes at 18 months and just recently had his tonsils and adeniods out at 2 year. We used Dr. Tseng, who is in the same practice as Dr. Matheny. When I called, Dr. Tseng was just the one who could see us first. He was great, both with us and with Mason.
