This is the perfect time to use pull-ups and begin training her to use the potty. My grandaughter was trained at 22 months, both, and out of diaper at night by 24 months.

Its not really a great idea to leave them sitting in wet diapers for too long. Especially the ones with all the chemicals like pampers, huggies, luvs, etc... Change them more frequently.

I've used the Costco brand for almost 2 years. My daughter is 2. I find that I need to change her more often now that it is summer and she'd drinking a lot more. She has started to tell me when she needs to be changed which helps. I guess we'll be potty training soon!

Pampers always leak for us. Huggies, however, do not. The night time huggies are awesome. We still use them for my 3 year old at night.

I used the Babies R Us/Toys R Us brand. They are cheaper than Pampers or any of the others. You can get a box with over 100 diapers for $25.00

Size 4 Luvs work for my 2 1/2 yo. I've always found that Huggies leak, I haven't tried the new Pampers because they are more expensive than Luvs.

We use the Pamper's Baby Dry with the caterpillar flex. I didn't like the new Dry Max ones, they were certainly thinner and made her behind less bulky looking, but they were horrible and leaked!

I went back to the Baby Dry version, which I have figured out work fine as long as she's in the right size. Husband argued with me about whether or not our 23 lb baby could go up to a size 4 (22-37lbs) from the size 3 (16-28 lbs). Mainly he didn't want to go up a size because there are less diapers in the size 4. I argued that we were starting to have leaking issues (mainly with poop) even though the size 3's still fit according to the weight specs on the package. Is anyone else confused about the wildly overlapping weight specs on the diaper packages?

Since went up to the 4's, we aren't having any more leaking. Also, I change her diaper every 2-3 hours whether they're very wet or not just because she's so prone to diaper rash, and also to prevent them getting too full. Poopy ones get changed immediately.

I have always used the Parents Choice brand from Walmart for my kids. They are super absorbant and only leak when they had them on all night. I will never use Huggies or Pampers because every one I have ever used leaked. I can buy a case of parents choice for $12.50....I love them and I will never buy another brand. Even if I dont have to get anything else I will drive to Walmart across town to get them.

I've always used huggies and they work perfect for me. Sometimes when the diapers start leaking that means you may need to go up a size. Even though the diaper doesn't seem small at all. Hope this helps!

I have a 9 1/2 month old boy and have been using Pampers Dry Max for the first time and he finished a huge box already and only leaked once and that was because I didn't put it on tight enough plus he kicks alot. I have heard people having issues with Dry Max but I though they worked well. I started using Pampers Baby Dry which is ideal for nightime usage but I use it during the day too. You might want to give that a try? I never liked Huggies myself because I always had problem with blowouts, they always ride up my son's clothes and back.

It's funny, I just switch from Pampers to Huggies because the "new improved" dry max cruisers, which are said to be more absorbant, leak horribly!! I have always used pampers swaddlers/cruisers because huggies didn't fit my petite newborn. I had never had a leak until they switched to the dry max and then I had 3 in a couple week span! I re-tried Huggies, both the "litttle movers" and the "original" and I found that the little movers were way more absorbant and have been working great for me too. My friend, who has a almost 2 year old was having the same problem and switched as well and loves them!!

All diapers leak if you leave them on too long. I found the Walmart brand worked just fine for us, even overnight. I would change right before bed and 1st thing in the morning. Huggies were also great for not gapping.

I have also changed diapers since Pampers changed their diapers. They were always leaking for me, too. We have started using Huggies and cloth diapers since then. I am sad to say that we have not found any diaper that holds as much as the old Pampers diapers did, but we have been happy with Huggies Cruisers. If you buy the 'jean' ones, they are super cute, too!

I use the Huggies Goodnights at night. My daughter is the same age, and is potty trained during the day, but at night, OH MY! She soaks! The goodnights are great! I have tried the Pampers overnights, but they aren't as good. Their tabs aren't as strong and they sag.

None of the name brand diapers ever worked for my kids - they all leaked and didn't fit well. Plus, the smell of petroleum when the package was opened was alarming - I didn't dare put them on my babies. Wal-Mart diapers were the only ones that did not leak, had a good fit and stayed on them. I hear Costco/Krikland brand are good as well. If you have one near and you are a member, you could try those.

Pampers worked best on my son until he was about a year old, then the Huggies seemed to fit him better, especially as he got more active. The Huggies also seemed to fit his shape better as he got taller & skinnier, as opposed to when he was a chubby little round baby.

For my twin girls, consistent leaky diapers always meant that it was time for them to move to the next size up. If you have already maxed out as some do at this age then I would start using pull-ups on her.

We use the CostCo/Kirkland brand. Never had a problem.

Have you tried using the next size up in diapers? Sometimes the fit is different and you need to go a size up. Or try changing her more frequently. She may be drinking more now that it's summer and "filling" her pants.

I hope this helps!

Pampers is the best out there, so it is either staying on too long, your baby drinking too much liquids or you need another size.

I had great sucess with Luvs...right up until she potty-trained at 2 1/2. I started her in Pampers--tried a bunch of store brands and they all caused diaper rash and reactions.

She may need a larger size, changed more often, or is ready to potty train!

We used Pampers Cruisers with Dry May during the day and Huggies Overnites... overnite. Never had a leak problem. What does happen sometimes is that if we go to long between changes the diaper becomes saturated and with a little pressure will leak like squeezing a wet sponge. So, things for you to consider are: are you taking too long between changes, are they the right size and are you putting them on right?

To be honest I think all diapers will leak after a certain point , just some sooner than others. I have had good success with Kirkland brand (Costco own) , or you could try over night diapers as they hold more , also I found going up to the next size helped reduce the amount of leaks.

I used Huggies for the longest time with my son. They worked really well for overnight. I don't know if they are still made, but White Cloud diapers were cheaper and were almost as good as Huggies. I've also used Luvs and had good success with them, even though I think Huggies are the best. I never had any luck with Walmart diapers. I only used those at daycare where my son got changed every 2 hours. If the diaper was on him any longer than that, he would always leak through. I would be on the lookout for free samples. You can sometimes find a place to request a free sample on the diaper's website and I know Walmart does free samples for diapers every once in a while. They usually send you 2 or 3 diapers to try. Hope you find something that works!

I am a pampers mom also. Was having the same trouble with leakage at night only. My neighbor told me about Huggies overnites for bedtime and they are great! no more wet clothes in middle of night.
If your child is wetting through during day as well may just need to go up a size. According to weight chart my son would be in a size 4 diaper but there is no way with how much he pees, he is wearing a 5 during day and a size 6 at night. hope it helps

I use Huggies Snug & Dry. The only time my son leaks through them is if he sleeps through the night. Otherwise, I change him when he wakes up. I would say you probably need to change your baby more often.

Huggies Supreme are great for diapers. That was our diaper of choice for our son. But when we graduated to a pull-up. We found that Huggies, Luvs, 7th generation and other brands would leak at night. (Somehow pull ups are not designed to hold as much). But we were presently surprised by Pampers Easy ups. They were great. Did not leak and were comfortable. So I would say: Huggies Supreme for diapers, and Easy ups for pull ups.
