What Do You Do in Your "Free" Time?

Girl time. I love my girl time - time with a friend to just chat & unwind without children or spouses around. I love what a great outlet it is, to just let it all out & spend time with someone that loves me & that I can totally be myself with.

Doesn't really matter WHAT we do, honestly - could be coffee, window shopping, lunch, etc. Just getting that time in at least once a month is a lifesaver for me.

Mostly read, sometimes I do soduko or word puzzles...

If I have enough time though I bake bread, something about the smell of bread rising and then baking... Yum

I leave the house and go somewhere away from the daily grunt. I go online and read what's going on, sometimes nothing whatsoever, just sit outside enjoying nature.

I read and play video games , Dragon Age II and Kingdoms of Amalur are my current addictions. I am waiting on Diablo III to come out in about 10 days. Been waiting on that one for 10 yrs.

I just got dressed, trying to prod hubs to go for a walk since it's a beautiful day, but neither of us really feel like budging into the outside world today.

I play video games, CODModern Warfare 3 mostly and read books.

I like to read, blast music, veg out! Oh and play on my laptop..a little too much even when it is not supossed to be my "free' time

If I have 2 minutes or less: Words with Friends or Scramble with Friends

If I have 10 minutes (or more, but I need to be ready to back in action at a moment's notice): read - anything and everything.

If I have "real" freedom ie not tethered to anyone or anything: Yoga! At a studio...ahh...bliss!

The only free time I have is time I very specifically set aside and I use it to work out. If it is a choice between working out and dropping laundry, dishes or anything other than feeding my kids I choose the workout. If I didn't make it such a priority it would never happen. I love to read and i love photography but rarely set time aside for either anymore. Now in two years when my kids are in school... who knows! Maybe I'll have some free time.

In the summer, I water ski.
I do zentangle inspired drawings. I just started them about 3 months ago and won 3rd place in a county wide art show a couple of weeks ago. I entered another one today--we will see how it goes!

i always go lay in bed w my kindle fire so i can catch up on my shows but i usually end up falling asleep after about 10 mins lol

I spend my time working in the garden.

I don't get too much of it but I am getting a tiny bit more.

When I do, I like to:

-workout
-go for a walk
-read
-do a little fun shopping by myself (not to spend much $ but just to go look
& buy a trinket)
-get on the computer: email, Mamapedia

I love my flower garden and can stay outside for hours. I try to excercise at least a half-hr to 45 minutes every other day. Once a week, I make a big salad with loads of veggies and toss it in my big glass bowl and put the lid on it---for lunch or for picking ! I usually call a friend at least once a week to chat. This week, I am going to call a friend who lives in Georgia. Next week, I'll call my friend in New Jersey. I love to cut coupons, too.
Every single day, I click the box on the animal rescue site who, in turn, donates .6 bowls of food to animals in shelters.

I have TONS of free time! I work p/t from home and hubby spoils me and does a lot of the housework so I have a lot of "ME" time. =) I love to watch reality tv, play on the computer, usually on here and Facebook...read, swim in the summers and ride bikes in the winter (too hot in the summer to do anything but swim). =)

Eat or go to the gym. I like balance in my life.

Addicted to laptop - this, Facebook, Crossword and Scrabble puzzles, Listen to music or sing, oh, and got my new Sewing machine yesterday! (yuppie...)...been dreaming of making cute dresses for DD....

Free time???? what is that? ...Just kidding......Actually I don't enjoy too much free time but when I have it, I like to read and exercise (go to the indoor/outdoor pool, walk, run, water aerobics, etc....).

Exercise, read, sit in the sun, sleep. :)

I've been writing short stories and watching a lot of the movies leading up to the Avengers. I also do little crafts and stuff to keep my hands busy while I'm watching tv.
