Okay ladies, what are YOU making for dinner tonight?
Just curious. I have the "night off" from making dinner. ha ha.

But always a good idea for Monday. ;)

What can I do next?

Since it's just started raining here and I am tired and want something simple, grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. YUM-that sounds so dang good all of a sudden. I might even throw in some hot chocolate for the kiddos.

I was "off" too ;) But my hubby made what we call "street tacos". You just take some chicken and grill it up. We use a cast iron griddle we have and we put crisco all over it. Then we shake Adobo seasoning on and let it sit for a bit. While the chicken sits in the season we dice up cilantro, onion, and tomato. We slice up some limes and avocados and get some good salsa. We grill up the chicken and chop it up, heat up some corn tortillas and put out the sides. It's soooooooooo good :D Happy Friday!

Lazy cooking day today- smoked sausage(preservative-free) with macaroni and cheese.
Yesterday I tried out my new stove and baked pork chops(topped with italian breadcrumbs for me & hubby and soy sauce for our son), zucchini casserole, and roasted red potatoes. Banana muffins for dessert.

Grilled flank steak, one marinated in teriyaki, the other dressed with a miso sauce. Brown rice. Miso roasted eggplant. Fresh melon (man, was it sweet). And a caesar salad. It was a yummy dinner and quite easy to make. And now daddy's taken the kids out for frozen yogurt...so mommy can stay home in the peace and quiet and enjoy her glass of wine. (^_^)

My hubby has decided to do home-made grilled pizzas. He makes the dough, flattens it out (pretending to be a gourmet pizza maker, flipping it in the air, etc..) then grills the dough outside, brings it in and has the kids and their friends pile on their choice of toppings, then puts it back on the grill to melt/cook all the yumminess. Always a fun and favorite thing at this house! All the kids' friends love to come over when we do grilled pizzas! :)

Me too!
Every Friday, I have a self-designated day "off" from cooking!
It is my, tradition.
On Fridays, the family makes whatever they want or eat left overs or we get take out.
It is my day off of cooking!
I look forward to it!

Of course I do make sure my kids have something to eat.
But I don't do all out cooking from scratch on Fridays.

Laurie A.: I made Sloppy Joe's the other night!
LOL
