So What Happened?

Thanks for the info, I called my ped. she suggests a year, so I will wait. On a side note, just because a company produces/markets a product for a baby does not mean it is safe or ethical for use.

Do you mean 8 mo old? We started feeding our son yogurt at 6 months.

Hi!
I have 3 under the age of 5! THey have all been eating yogurt since about 6 months old. They love it and it is super good for them. I think it is one reason they are not sick very often at all! Yogurt is a wonderful super food for your kids, ask your pediatrician.

Whenever the pedi says whole milk is okay. There are great yogurts for babies like Yo-Baby.

My ped. said that yogurt can start earlier than milk, around 6 months. We gave our daughter Yo Baby starting around 8 months because of diaper rash from antibiotics. It really helped, and she loved it so much she still has it every morning for breakfast, and she is 2! The only thing to watch for is the other ingredients, in case you have not introduced a certain fruit to your child yet.
