Where Are Your Bras?

I'm so confused when I see all of the summer clothes on women that have tube tops, strapless dresses, one shoulder shirts, and dresses that you can't hide a bra under. It always leaves M. wondering; where is her bra?! I understand teens and women with small chests, or fake boobs dont need to wear a bra, but some of these are women who are large up top and some overweight. I dont understand. is there some secret i'm missing? Some of these tops wouldnt work with strapless bras because you would stille see them in the sweeping back line they have, and honestly with bigger breasts strapless bras dont work. Also you can never see a hint of a bra in some of these tops.
So ladies where are your bras in the summer season when you're wearing these shirts/dresses? i find it hard to believe middle aged women after having kids still have boobs that defy gravity?

and yes we know there is one lady here that is older with wonderfully huge natural perky boobs (i'd like to see a profile photo to prove that one!_ but I’m talking about the normal ones where they live in a world which doesn’t defy gravity. So SB(SuperBoob) I understand why you don’t wear one (by the way I’d love for someone to be able to call M. that jokingly=) ) but for the rest of the women who live in the world in which gravity does exsist where are your bras? i have 34ddd and while they are higher up then some ladies and I can feel comfortable naked still, they certainly aren’t in the same exact alert position as when I was in my teens or twenties. I most certainly feel more comfortable in a bra and like them up as high as possible

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

ONEPERFECTONE i didnt mention a name and the person states it a lot so I dont think it's a hidden fact, and I was joking=) I AM jealous, i;'d love to be able to have superboobs=) i stated that above.
Manda I have one with boning thats like a corsette so it goes all of the way down that doesnt shift that I wear if need be the boning kills M. after an hour and leaves marks. there is a store in town that has a corsette bra that only goes half way without boning that i want to try next

I am overweight, have big boobs and do NOT wear clothing like you mentioned.
Who wants to see that?? Not M.. I need a bra or my boobs are dragging on the ground.
I hate seeing those women that "think" they don't need a bra wearing skimpy little shirts. It's so tacky!

I don't wear them with my strapless dresses.

32C. Real. Still perky. Not as perky as my 20's, but perky enough that my bestie and my husband can't tell I'm not wearing a bra.

I am SuperBoob. WOOT!

Shout out to Christy Lee!!!

Call M. SB too if you want. 34DD I am fortuante to have good genes which helps but I still prefer to wear a bra.

I think it is important to have a good quality well fitted bra. I don't wear tube tops or spagetti straps.

I don't think MP would look too kindly on posting a pic, but I have some :)

Best wishes to you and your upcoming marriage

I don't have large breasts but after nursing two babies even my medium boobs are saggy.

Large chested women with real breasts don't wear strapless or tube tops or anything like that unless they're 16 and the boobs are still "uphere". My best friend had very big boobs before breast cancer and never wore anything without a wide shoulder strap to cove her bra straps. After cancer and breast reconstruction her girls are "uphere" and she has many more wardrobe options than ever before - plus she decided to go down a size or two. (As she says, there had to be some positive of breast cancer.)

Finally, if you have dd cups you shouldnt be wearing strapless or spaghetti straps anyway. If your giants girls are all out there no one will take you seriously - no matter how smart, kind, funny or witty you are. The men will oogle your chest but not take you seriously in any regard and the women will dismiss you as a dizzy chick (at best) or a hoochie (at worst). It's not right, it's not fair - but it is.

The dresses I have that don't have lines have built in bras that steal support from the dress itself. Otherwise it is J. a strapless bra and a prayer.

The only time my 'girls' are free is bedtime. I can't stand to not wear my bra. I love sport bras especially. The last time I wore a tube top....I was 12 yrs old. :)
I also love tank tops ( with bra ) during these sweltering Texas summers. I don't like seeing women braless, SORRY, but I don't like seeing that. Whether they be 'superboobs' or 'more mature boobs' lol....either way....put a bra on already!

You have some big boobs!! Built in bras offer a lot of support. I have a 36b so a strapless bra works great. Honestly, I don't really need a bra, but it makes my boobs look bigger...not a problem for you!

I am a 34/36 DDD and a size 4. Strapless anything is J. not an option for M.. I would feel naked without a bra, and I have never found a strapless bra that works. And I have never in my entire life found an outfit with a shelf bra that remotely fits my boobs and the rest of M. as well. The world must think that if you are a DDD cup, you must be overweight everywhere else. So frustrating!
I would love to wear those cute dresses and tops, but it's always going to be a no-go.

When my BFF was still significantly overweight (over 200 pounds) she never wore a bra. She couldn't stand it. Her boobs would J. be squashed in whatever she was wearing, and she certainly would have looked better with the support and shaping of a bra, but she J. didn't care. Maybe this is what you're seeing?
It's also true that some tops and dresses have those built in shelf bras, and some even have wire support (like a swimsuit.)

I don't wear tube tops - so can't tell you that.

Keep in mind, some women actually buy the right size bra and the seams don't show.

There are some dresses that now have the "shelf bra" in them so wearing a bra isn't always necessary - like some bathing suits have them.

I'm a 38 DD, like you, I don't like them hanging free!!

When I saw the title, I became excited about this question because I thought it was going to be about where we store our bras....my underwear drawer is overflowing.

I have 32C boobs, as perky as they can be for being so little, and I still don't wear tops without a bra. The only time I feel I can get away with it is if the front of the blouse is very flowy and not clingy to the body at all, therefore you would be unable to see ANYTHING. Most of my friends (most of whom are all thin like myself) who wear this kind of stuff and ACTUALLY LOOK GOOD IN IT have fakes. I like wearing a bra because it helps M. look like I actually have cleavage! I think my reservations about going braless have a lot to do with how thin I am up top - I feel bony and like I need as much "padding" as I can get.

If I am not wearing a bra with straps, it is either strapless or stick on. They sell inexpensive stick on bras in Target. Some bras also have straps that can go many different ways and/or you can get those strap hider things that pull the straps out of the way.

Ha ha Mandy B has it correct here in Florida I see all different sized women (with different size boobs) wearing tanks and stuff like that and no they do not all have perfect boobies. Yes, I am saying that some of them should really look in the mirror before heading out the door.

I know they make all kinds of sticky things to hold up what you have. I found this out after getting a bridesmaid dress (backless and thin straps), I don’t know if they work with a D or DD cup. Plus some of the regular bras can now remove straps or twist them all different.

Waiting for someone to reply with a real solution!
I'm in your boat. 34DD. Strapless bras (at least, those that are not longline with actual boning built in for support) are a joke for M..

And after 2 kids, they look like sad pancakes if I squish them in a shelf bra. In a normal bra they still look OK.

So...waiting and hoping for a good answer. I have a couple of strapless and 1-shoulder tops that I love. I go with strapless and wind up miserably tugging at it all day J. so I can wear them. But I'd love to not be miserable.

I don't think boobs being where they are supposed to and not pointing down...means someone is superboob! Lol.

I have a larger chest. A large D cup. I should say, it's large for my size. I am very petite, about 100 pounds. Although my boobs haven't succumbed to age and gravity (yet,) I do think it would be obvious, if I weren't wearing a bra. I'm J. so small, and they'd J. be so...out there! And, I can't stand the bounce factor! Also, I do get chilled. I don't need the world to know. I think tube tops are tacky on everyone. You can easily hide bras under one shoulder shirts and strapless dresses, I do! My wedding dress was strapless and low on my back. I found a bra that sat very low, that I have worn with many things since. You'd be amazed at the contraptions you can find in a specialty bra store. A bra for every occasion, as I like to say. I also have a dress with a very supportive built in bra.

Ugh - I refuse to wear strapless bras (I've ALWAYS hated them), and these 38DDs need underwire support so I'm sure those sticky bras wouldn't work. So when I shop the first thing I do is see if the dress can hide my bra straps. If not, I keep on looking. And when I feel sad looking at a spaghetti strap dress I can never wear, I J. remind myself that my awesome rack helps draw attention away from the tummy I haven't been able to get rid of after having my second kid 8+ years ago!

I don't feel comfortable without a bra, but I think I could pull it off if I wanted too. Yes I am older, nursed two kids, and they are not fake, but I did have a reduction and lift after my second was done nursing. I think reductions and lifts are getting more common, so maybe that could explain some of the woman? New studies out of france have actually shown that breast will stay perkier if we don't wear bras, that the bras make the muscles and tissues weak, but unfortunately they say that if you have already been wearing a bra for several years you will not see great improvement if you stop wearing one now.
