Where Did You Get Your Growth Chart?

Ok, I maybe a little late in starting this but I am looking to have a growth chart for my dd who is 3. You know the one that tracks her height. Most of what I have seen are fairly expensive. I'm looking for something cute and nice that is under $25. Do you have any recommendations?

I was thinking of using the wall, but my DH is against any markings on the wall. Besides if we re-paint the room, it will go away, so don't want to loose that.

What can I do next?

All we have done is, designate a certain part of our wall... for tracking our kids growth.
Its just a narrow edge or part of the wall. In the play room.
That works for us.

Check out amazon.com - they have lots of cute ones and often have free shipping. My daughter has a cute one the her grandma got her, you can put pictures for every year on it. My sons "growth chart" is sharpie marker on the wall!!!!

We made our own, we used a large sheet of cardboard and put it in the garage...it's not terribly cute, but you can make it with small little increments so they feel like they've accomplished something even if it's 1/4".

I made mine! I have seen the cheesy ones at various stores, and then found one that I loved on Pinterest. I'm not creative or crafty, but I sure can copy someone else without a problem. I made my own, then my friends started asking me to make one for them. Pretty simple to make and it's a solid piece of wood. What's better is that you can take it with you when you go somewhere.

I posted it on Etsy, but I'm really only selling them to my friends. I posted it for $40 simply because I don't really want to be selling/shipping all over the US. Others sell for $50-70 for the exact same thing.

If you're ever in Vegas, I would totally sell one to you for $25 or I'll walk you through how to make one of your own.

I got a nice wooden one at a little shop in San Diego where they have all the shops by the harbor and navy boats. They personalize it for you. I think it was under $40. I also have one that folds up that came in a book or something but I don't know where that came from. I'm sure you can find some on Amazon or maybe Borders or Barnes and Noble. Hope this helps.

We got ours at a 99 cent store. It cost 4.99. It is made of three cardboard rectagles, held together with ribbon, has illustrations, and places to put in photos. I bought about a dozen at the time, because hey they were gender neutral, and they make great gifts.

if you've got any crafty skills, you can make one out of scrapbook paper, or
a table runner.

Good luck to you and yours,

I got my daughters out of a My Little Pony Activity Pack :)

She got coloring books of th eponies she loves and the chart! A win for all since it was only 6 or 7 dollars.

The chart is paper, but I had not problem with it...

Good luck!
