Hello mamas! I need help.... I have procrastinated in buying a little girls tin tea set on line and now I'd have to pay outrageous shipping to get it here in time for Christmas. So, mamas, does anyone know of a store that sells cute tin tea sets? I don't want the plastic ones that I've seen around in the main stores like Target, WalMart, but my girl just turned 3 and so porcelain sets are out of the question right now. If anyone has any other tea set ideas for me, I'd love to hear them!! Thanks much!

What can I do next?

IKEA has a set, although Im not certain they are tin. They also have a who line of kiddy kitchen and bakeware. I have to admit...I had toy envy.

I saw a tinker bell glass tea set at Walgreens. I don't know if that is what you are looking for but just thought I'd mention it.

Girly Girlz on Baseline and Val Vista sells them - at least I saw them there a month ago. They had the very same striped one I've seen in catalogs at the time. I think it was pink and green, very cute. Was it in Lillian Vernon catalog?

You will probably pay more than if you bought it online, but the tin ones are great and worth getting. Good Luck!

Try a toy store in Ahwautukee called "Brilliant Sky" located on the corner of Chandler and 48th St. They have awesome toys and if they don't have what you are looking for they will help you find it! Good Luck!

I don't know what part of town you live in, but Raph, a boutique shop on Thomas Road just west of 48th Street carries them at a very reasonable price. I've also seen them at Neiman Marcus children's section at not too outrageous a cost. Good luck!

Hi,

I just saw a few tea sets at Tuesday Morning in Tempe. My daughter is 3 and china (cheaper version) is fine for her now.

I haven't been personally in a little while, but in the past I have seen something similar at Cracker Barrel Restaurant in the cute little gift shop, worth a try because you're right, everything else is the plastic stuff.
Good Luck!

I bought a tin tea set for my 3 year old niece at Ross. I actually saw them at a few different Ross stores. It was in a cute pink case made by Alex I believe. Good luck!

I have no idea if they sell TIN tea sets at this store, but it is worth a shot or they may know where you can get one. There is a little boutique toy store in the Dana Park shopping center on ValVista and Baseline. They are way back in the NW corner of the shopping center next to Gymboree. You can try it. Also TJ MAXX, ROSS and other stores like that might have something similar. Good luck in your search.

Hi J.,
The Hackett House in Tempe Carries them. I would call them to make sure they have some and check their hours. They are run by volunteers and the hours are weird. I bought one their for a baby shower. They come in a basket that opens and closes and are real dishes etc. They are so cute. Good luck! Phone is ###-###-####.
