I'm looking for a part-time nanny for my child in the Dallas area. Where should I post this position if I don't want to go through a nanny agency? Here? On craigslist? What other websites are out there on which I could post? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Try care.com. You can search on there for free once you register but to actually contact the nannies and email them, there is a fee. (I think it's like $35). I posted a position on there and had a lot of responses but I ended up getting a referral through a friend and never used the "paid" service part.

Good luck

I have a friend who recently posted a nanny position on care.com

You can post and find nannies on In The Loop Kids - www.intheloopkids.com

All nannies and babysitters listed are from other moms referring them. It's a great website for everything kid-related.
