I have been looking for work to do online for about 4 months now. I just can't seem to find any that don't cost to start up. Does anyone have any ideas?

What can I do next?

Hi L., The only thing I have found that is ligit, is working for ebay, and unfourtunately, they are not using anyone from South Dakota, so for me, there is nothing out there. I have searched hundreds of these places and have had no luck. Try ebay, it may work well for you.

Hi L.
I have found an exciting new idea about job searching
for internet jobs. Go to Yahoo hot jobs.com and punch in work from home, you'll have to set an account with them but its free.
also there is Monster.com that is a good one. I have found the best ones on Yahoo though. they are calling jobs, so you have to have a good reliable fast computer for most of them. they do have some of the survey ones and other ones that want money, but you just need to stay away from them. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hi L. ~
I just joined with a new resource called APSense - http://www.apsense.com/invite/myapsense. It's a new social network for business individuals and lists numerous ways to make money online. Keep in the mind all of the information is about business opportunities vs a 'real' work at home job. You can meet new people, find numerous tips, and now they offer a referral program (just started) and business center. If interested in this time of work, you may find is useful. Thanks.

There are many jobs out there you just have to be tenacious about looking for them and then finding the right fit. There are also businesses that you can build from home as well (Avon, MaryKay, Melalueca, etc.) Businesses do have start up costs, but have other advantages such as setting your own schedule and earning potential. You just have to keep searching for the right thing for you, don't give up! I also work with Melaleuca with a group called the Mom Team and I absolutely love it. It works for me, my family and our lifestyle. Never give up looking, and something will work out!

Hi L.:

I have been working with a health and wellness company for a little over a year now. It's called Melaleuca. I've been doing it around my four kids' schedules and it's truly been a blessing. It does cost $1 to start just until the 15th of this month. They announced the promotion for June 1 - June 15. I'd love to get you the details because it is such a great company to be involved with. They have high ethics and integrity and most of us (about 90 percent) are parents. I can get you the details tomorrow if you want to chat.
Let me know and I'll get you on an overview call with me and you can see if it makes sense for you and your family.

God bless you!!!
T.

I don't know anything about the town you live in, but here we have a clinic and hospital that both hire people to work from home to do insurance and billing stuff. You could check with clinics in your area, then you are working for someone locally and know it's legit.

Hi L.,
I work full-time in a medical office but was always looking for something to do online from home to make additional income for my family. I've tried several business that all had pretty reasonable start up fees. I paid my fees, got some information from the company and then I was to do it all by myself. I had no clue what I was doing, and unfortunately failed everytime. Earlier this year, things totally changed for the better.

Back in March 2007 a friend of mine blessed me with the gift of Arbonne. Arbonne is a Health & Wellness company thats been around for 27 years. I was given some products to try and totally fell in love them them and they way they made me feel. So I asked more questions, did some research and signed up with Arbonne. There is a start up fee of only $29. I paid my $29, got my start up kit and was welcomed into a team of wonderful people I know call my friends. In Arbonne you are in business for yourself but never by yourself. We work as a team. Help one another out. I love it. I started in March 2007 and by April 30th I had been promoted to District Manager (the first mgmt level in the business) I'm now making enough money each month for a car payment. That's huge for my family. I do Arbonne in my spare time while I still work Mon-Fri 8-5 at my day job and have a husband and 2 sons. If you would like more info please email me at ____@____.com or you can call me at ###-###-####. Well wishes to you and your family.

I work from home and have an ebay store, it was slow to start so you have to be patient. But my business IS growing!! I now have my own website and slowly my business is growing. I don't make a lot of money at it, the ebay fees add up, but I am hoping that as it grows so will the profits. It is not easy to start up, but nothing is. You can try to list a few things and see how you like it. :-)

Hi L.

I am a new member to this forum and just noticed your posting. About a year ago when I was browsing the internet, I came across a website called sohojobs.org
It is a wonderful forum that has hundreds of job posting from real companies.
Companies post their job openings on sohojobs.org and they hire people to do their work from home.
It has any job you can possibly think of listed on the site.
If you haven't found what you are looking for, or if you are like me, and still feel the need to contribute more to the household, I would check this out.

It has been a great blessing to me and my family.
i have been hired by 3 different companies in the past year and it has made a world of difference in my life.

I hope this will help.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
You can also let them know I referred you if you wish.

Hi!
It is hard to do find something with a low start up, if you want a business. A job, however, is free. But, like any job, you need to apply.

www.passiontosuccess.com is a great resource. You'll find information on how to get started with a business, job, or independent contractor. It also lists companies that hire from home.

Best of luck and follow your passion!

Hi L.

I know you asked your question quite a while ago but I just joined mamasource so I'm late answering you.

I sell Avon, It only has a $10 start up fee. You can earn up 20%-50% commmision or discount on your own products. You do not keep any inventory on hand. You only order what you need.

It's great owning your own business. You can do as much or as little with it as you want. You set your own hours and you're the boss!

I know women who were able to quit their jobs and become full time Avon Reps within 6 months. My goal is to be self-employed completely with Avon but currently it is a way to earn suplimental income.

There are also the opportunities for scholorships and health insurance for Avon representatives and their families.

I'd check it out or contact me with any questions. ____@____.com or www.youravon.com/jhegna.

Best of luck.
