I asked my girlfriend about them and she actually had one that she hated. She said it was too tight and uncomfortable. Read the entire question and 3 answersI am on such a tight budget that we do just about nothing in our free time or buy any extras. I manage to get by with what I make but now they need new clothes. If any of you other moms out there have two very hyper boys, then you know what their clothes look like at the end of the day. Their dad won't help. He buys clothes for them and keeps them at his house with the word 'DAD' marked on the tags in permenant black marker and they are not allowed to wear them home. They are only with him every other weekend and Tuesday nights. I asked him to help a little with haircuts and he refuses. he still lives with his parents and makes big bucks. Well, the facts are I need to get them some clothes, whether new, used or hand-me-downs. Do any of you bargain-shoppers know how I can get the best deals and where. I'm not too proud to take second hand clothes. Please let me know. They're starting to look like raga-muffins.

My daughter's name is Breanne but her brother calls her Bran, which has led to the nickname of Raisin Bran. So for Halloween we want to make her a raisin. I'm thinking a purple bubble suit or something like that but I haven't been able to find anything online. I bought a few from Target and she does not like them. She says she is very uncomfortable. Do any of you have any ideas where a young girl can get fitted for a bra? I usually end up dropping them off at The Goodwill, but was wondering if anyone knew of any charity groups that needed baby clothes. I am now a SAHM so I have some nice women's suits to donate as well. I have heard of organizations that help single moms get back on their feet with makeovers, interview suits, etc. but I am new to Chicagoland so I don't know any in this area. I know I can find some at Stride Rite, but I'd like to spend less since my daughter will only wear them a few times. I need them for her Christmas dress, so I need them soon! This is only her second pair of shoes and she was a 4W when we bought her first pair from Stride Rite a couple of months ago. She might be able to fit into a regular width, but maybe not. I just haven't had luck finding anything I like that will fit. Oh, and I need a small, black velvet bow. Thanks everyone!

Well, we have been getting them at Babies R Us the last few years and I went to pick mine up yesterday - they didn't have my son's size and they aren't too cute for the boys right now. Anyway, my question is are there any kid's/baby specialty shops around the area that carry these? Since I haven't been in the area long I haven't needed any of these kinds of things. I am in the Watauga area but don't mind driving a bit to find something really cute! I'm also looking for matching or similar Easter clothes for my boys 4 years and will be one year by Easter! She wears a ladies size shoe, but the shoes need to be at least a little young looking. I don't know the first place to start to get boots to Colorado in time for Christmas. Read the entire question and 6 answersI've been asking around, and everyone else seems to think I'm crazy - Every time I buy a shirt lately (T-shirt type material), I get holes forming right around the belly-button area! A lot of times this happens on the very first day that I wear the shirt - before I've even washed it once! This is numerous brands: Old Navy, Gap, Maurices, Target, Kohl's, Carsons, Roots (from Canada)... I do not wear belts, I wear many different kinds of jeans, I do not have moths, I have not changed laundry detergent... The only thing is it has happened mostly in the last year or two, and my twins are 16 months old. Is it just from picking them up, holding them, them now standing in my lap... But then I would think that other mothers of young kids would be having the same problems, and I can't find anyone else yet! It is literally no less than a dozen shirts that have turned up with holes within the first time or two of wearing them! Anybody else having this happen? Any thoughts at all?! Thanks....

I thought what a neat thing to have all of us in some kind of matching or similiar pj's. I do have some conseritive family members so i would need pants or capris with sleeves. Short is fine. My closet, however, is full of "nothing to wear" since most of it doesn't fit anymore. I've never been good at accessorizing or picking out outfits. I pretty much have usually stuck to solids and basic pieces that I can mix and match. It's definitely time for a make-over of sorts and I would like help. When I get into a store I usually end up getting too tired and overwhelmed and leave with nothing. I'm quite happy staying in pajamas all day long (when I'm staying at home, of course. LOL), but I would like to feel more put together when I do leave the house. So, I am wondering if any of you have ever used some kind of consultant to shop with before and if you could pass on their contact info. Thanks!

My 3 year-old daughter is slowly recovering from a cough/cold and hasn't slept well for a couple of nights. Consequently she wasn't doing what I asked her and was acting up a bit. She wasn't damaging anything or making a mess or even crying, just not listening to me when I was trying to leave. Anyway, a Ross employee came up to me (out of the blue) and told me to use the belt I was about to buy to hit her with. That would get her to listen he said. I couldn't believe it - it really upset me. I think my daughter understood what he said as well because she cried all the way home. What do you moms think? Have you ever received unwanted parenting advice?

I would like to find a fully lined(so I don't have to worry about a slip or see through) A line/knee length style dress. Also, I prefer it to have short sleeves - so no sleeveless. A lot of the dresses I'm looking at, are unlined, and therefore I think they would probably be see through which I don't like. Also, I need it to be conservative....... I wear size 6-8 depending on the manufacturer. Any ideas? Thanks!!
