Extended Breastfeeding and Trying to Concieve

I've decided to be an 'extended breastfeeder', Not only is my toddler extremely attached, but when I made my first attempt at weaning, I became super depressed and felt like I was grieving. So I've changed my 'plans' lol. I've also been trying for another baby. What I'm wondering, is, are there any other mom's out there who have successfully conceived while they were breastfeeding longer than 2 yrs? I've heard of clomid, but am nervous as I've heard it can cause some pretty intense mood swings, along with depression and anxiety.

Breast Feeding Advice

Hello, I am currently breast feeding my daughter. We had a difficult time at first because I had a c-section and she would not latch. I had to use a nipple shield to finally get her to latch. I chose to use the nipple shield given to me by the lactation consultants over formula feeding longer. We have been feeding regularly w/o shield for over a month now. I have been having difficulty lately as my daughter arches at the end of feedings pulling my nipple with her. It is without warning and it hurts a lot. It makes my nipples very sore...

Should I Get a Doula for My First Pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first and plan on having a natural childbirth. I've heard doula's are awesome to have and am not sure if I should. My partner is very supportive, he has a 10yr old, so he's been through it before. My mom plans on being there (if she can) and she's had 6 kids all natural births. Would a doula be more than I need, or do you think one would still be worth the cost? If so does anyone have recomendations, or should I ask my doctor? And what should I expect to pay?

Schedule for Breastfeeding?

EDIT AFTER READING SOME RESPONSES: My baby WILL NOT take a bottle/sippy cup/etc. Absolutely WILL NOT. I have tried - believe me. Also - he was eating 5 jars a day when he was 6 mos old - but he had to stay in the hospital for 6 days and didnt feel like eating solids. After that stay - he went down to two jars a day and just will not eat anymore. It is a fight to get him to eat the two jars! I am afraid to give him anything like puffs because he wont eat anything with texture and everytime i try puffs, etc. he chokes because he...

7 Year-old with Digestive problems....could It Be Celiac or Chron's?

I am the parent of 3. My oldest, a 7-year-old girl, has had gastrointestinal problems for about 3 years. Lots of pain varying in severity, and hard for her to describe. She always pointed to different locations. It happened most days, with a few little breaks, but mostly she had just chronic pain. Also, I journaled things but could never find a food or food group that caused the problem. After a year of this off-and-on pain, I knew things weren't normal. She went to an allergist, and tested negative for the major food allergies. (he...
