As my girls get older, I can't help but worry about college expenses for 2 girls. What are your plans for college financing? How many kids do you have? Are you putting $ away monthly? Can I be so bold to ask how much? Taboo topic in person. Anyone seen the documentary, Ivory Tower? Requesting Tips on Applying for Grants, Scholarships, Etc. for College

I have a 17 year old stepson who recently informed his Dad & I that he wants to attend a 4 yr. college next fall. Our plan was to have him stick around & get his basics done at a nearby community college & then transfer to a 4 year college for his last two years. Who Pays for College...?

Are we as parents obligated/responsible for paying for our kids college? In a perfect world we would all have started a college fund when they were babies and at college age it would be enough to put any of them through the school of their choice.... but I digress.
