My Newborn Is Awake a Lot!

My baby is 6 weeks old and seems to be awake more than he should. He was awake last night from 7-12:45am and also awake yesterday from 10am-1pm. When he is awake, he is fussy but not a lot, he is just very alert and looking around when he is awake. I feel that maybe he is awake more than he should be? Also, I need help on ways to relieve gas other than the drops and pulling his feet towards his chest.

Bibs That Stay On

Hello moms, My sweet baby girl can rip off any bib you put on her neck in a heartbeat. Usually she will leave it on during the meal, but the moment she is done she will pull it off, including the Baby Bjorns. So before I invest again I'd like suggestions for bibs that tie/velcro in the back,(something only Linda Blair could see if she turned her head all the way around:)preferably with a pocket to catch any falling food. Thanks

The Best Booster Seat

I am interested in moving my daughter to a new seat (which is my sons old car seat), so I want to get a booster seat for my son. He just turned three. I've looked at Target and there are several kinds. Does anyone have a really good feeling about the booster seat they have for their toddler? I don't know if we should go with the five point system, like he has now or to go with one that uses the seatbelt to strap him in, like he'll have to get used to in the future. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Switching from Bottle to Sippy Cup

I took my daughter for her 1 year Dr. visit. He told me it is time to stop feeding her from formula to milk and to take her off the bottle and let her use a sippy cup. She loves the milk and didn't miss the formula, but she is having a hard time stopping the bottle. In her routine, we snuggle for a bottle first thing in the morning and just before bed. She does drink out of a sippy cup during the day. I figured that I would try the sippy cup in the am and get her used to that then attack the pm bottle. The last few mornings, I have...

Agressive Behaviour Increasing in 4 1/2 Year Old

Hi all Mamas again. I am writing again because I am becoming increasingly concerned over my 4 1/2 year old son's agression. What I though may have just been a phase is just getting worse and more out of control. We have clear rules in our home. If he screams at us because he doesn not like something we say it is a time out automatically. If he does not listen to what he is told he is given a warning (reminder) that he will be placed in time out if he does not do as he is told by the count of three. No fibbing..it's a time out, and no...
