What's in Your Travel First Aid Kit?

Hi Mamas! We are getting ready to go on a family trip before baby 2 arrives. We have a 20 month old son who is becoming more adventurous by the day. :) Thankfully he's only had a few bumps and bruises and scrapes that we've been able to care for at home. That being said, I'm packing over the next few days and I'd like to get a first aid kit together, for things like stings, bites, scrapes, cuts, burns, whatever we need to be prepared, I suppose. Do you have a first aid kit? What's are the essentials? Thanks everyone!

7 Month Old Twins Have Colds, Refuse Nasal Aspirator Bulb

My 7 month old baby twins have come down with colds and have congested & runny noses. It's so clear that they have phlegm in their noses, but FREAK OUT when I try to use the bulb aspirator that worked so well when they were newborns. My hubby and I have tried double-teaming to keep them still while the other sucks, but still very difficult and impossible when I'm alone. They're having a hard time with their bottles since they have trouble breathing through their noses. Also, waking up from naps early I think because of breathing troubles...

Which Kind of Thermometer

Which type of thermometer is best for a toddler? I have an ear thermometer but have heard that they aren't accurate. Is the kind that you swipe across the forhead better?
