Swaddlegate - the Unswaddling of My 4 Month Old

My baby will turn 4 months in a week. For the past 3 weeks, he's been busting out of every swaddle we have tried for him. The miracle blanket, the Snug and Tug, the Kiddapotamus, etc. He doesn't bust out of it necessarily, but he figures out a way to wiggle one or both arms out. When he was 3 months old, we tried unswaddling him for several nights and he was completely overtired because his startle reflex would usually keep him awake. So we ditched that idea after 5 days and 4 nights of barely any sleep. But now, he busts out...

Miracle Blanket Users - When Did You Stop Using It?

My daughter just turned 6 months old and still sleeps wrapped up tightly in her miracle blanket. Wondering when your kids wrestled free. (My oldest used Miracle blankets until about 5 months and always woke up with it sort of loosely wrapped in place until she finally broke free -- then we dropped it cold turkey. Shortly thereafter she started sleeping on her belly in a Halo.) Is there any reason for me to stop wrapping her up? I told her doc at her well baby visit that she still sleeps swaddled up tightly and he didn't bat an eye so I...

When and How to Wean off Night Time Swaddle?

I have a wonderful 6 month old who sleeps everynight in a miracle blanket. My husband and friends think that it's time to stop the swaddle all together, but my son really seems to find comfort in it. He is not rolling over from back to stomach yet. He goes to sleep great at night but usually stirs through out the night when he loses his pacifier so I am wondering if sleep will improve without the swaddle, but I am afraid to give it up!

Help with Getting My Son in His Own Bed!

I need help getting my exclusively breastfed son to sleep 1. in his own bed and 2. to sleep longer than 2 hours at a stretch! I am not able to get any sleep while "co-sleeping" He also won't sleep in the bassinet next to our bed. He starts the night off there but ends up in bed with us. Please help! Also the only way he can fall asleep is while nursing!
