Everywhere I read, I see that you can use a crib mattress for a toddler bed. We just got a toddler bed and the crib mattress is long enough but not quite wide enough. We've borrowed the toddler bed, so I'm not even sure what brand the bed is. Are there mattresses that are specifically for toddler beds? Also, we're looking to get a bed rail. We bought one, but it's too wide. Again, I'm having time figuring out if the bed rails actually fit toddler beds and not twin mattresses. Any suggestions?

Hi- my sister-in-law is expecting her first baby in August, and she asked me if she should get one of those sleeping wedges for her baby- that thing that's supposed to prevent the baby from rolling over onto his stomach.
