Help W/ Eczema on 6 Month

My 6 month old has had a rash in the creases of her arms and behind her knees for nearly 5 months now. The doctor said it's eczema and to just put lotion on it, but its really bothering her now. She tries to itch it with her hand and feet any chance she gets, and now shes starting to cry when she does itch it. Its bright red and super dry. Is she too young to use cortizone cream on it? Does any one have a simple remedy? Help, were desperate!

Could My 3 Year Old Daughter Have a Yeast Infection?

Lately my 3 year old has been sayig that her vaginal area hurts. I have looked to see what could be causing it and its red and when I touch it she cries. I thought maybe since shes potty trained she isnt wiping well enough. I do see what looks like toilet paper build up inside and I use a wash cloth to wipe it out and put baby powder on it. It seems to help for a little while but like a week later she complained again. I don't want to go to the doctor if its nothing. I have done that so many times since she was born that I freak out over...

The D. Rash That Won't Go Away

I have recently started cloth (AIO) diapering my 16 month old and she has a horrible rash that just won't go away. At night, I put her in her Huggies and slather her with cream which usually would make her clear up overnight. This has been going on for a week now, to no avail. If there are any experienced cloth diaper moms out there who have any suggestions, please help. TIA - (it has taken me forever to figure out what TIA was, sheesh!)

4 Year Old Complaining About His Feet

My 4 year old son has been complaining that his toes/feet hurt for the last couple of months. His big toes on both feet seem to have some peeling skin right above the toenail. We thought it was athlete's foot, so had been trying Lotrimin, but that hasn't really worked. I recently took him to the doc for an unrelated issue and asked to have him look at his toes. The doc said it was not anything fungal and to just try lotion and/or vaseline. We have been doing that, yet every night for the past week or so, he has woken screaming/crying...

4 Year Old with Red Rash on Her Privates

I don't know how to ask this or explain it. I have a 4 year old that has a red rash on her privates, close to the folds but on the skin. She said that it is sore sometimes. That usually means it is red. I have tried diaper ointment. Sometimes that helps but not always. I always make sure that she is dry after going to the bathroom or having a bath. I don't let her have a bubble bath as I have been told that can be a cause. Any advise would be great

WHY Are My Kids Getting Sick So Much This Summer??

I am at my wits end, SO frustrated that my usually healthy children seem to have been sick ALL summer! I have 3- ages 4, 2, and 7 months. They don't attend daycare (I am home with them all day) and have very little exposure to other children other than at church weekly and my 4 year old's swimming lessons (which I rarely even take the little ones to). They are on Juice Plus supplements daily, as well as a multivitamin and vitamin C supplements. Here are the illnesses that we have experienced- -First, strep with 2 of the kids, we...

My 3 Year Old Has Constant Itchiness down There

My daughter seems to CONSTANTLY complain that she itches down there. I figured it was just a yeast infection so I use vagisil, but she shows no signs of anything...no redness no discharge nothing. Its so bad though at night when she is sleeping I hear her crying in her sleep that it itches. She has an appontment coming up soon, but I was just curious if anyone has any suggestions. I try to let her sleep with no undies as much as possible to help air out, I got her wipes that will help her clean herself better but I dont know what else I...
