What About Kaiser?

Hello Moms! I A. once again calling on your wisdom and experience. My husband is an independent consultant, which means that we do not have access to group benefits offered by an employer. Someone has suggested Kaiser to him, but his mom and aunt would rather bleed to death than go to a Kaiser doctor...not sure why. In any case, I A. curious to hear what experiences any of you may have had with Kaiser. Once again, thank you!

Hi ladies, I am looking for a dentist in the Sac area. I live in North Natomas, so the closer the better. I would like a smaller practice that has a more personal feel instead of a place that is huge...we tried Park Place Dental and didn't really like it. It Is Really over $10,000 to Have a Baby?

We are happy to have recently found out that after a miscarriage and a year of trying we are expecting #3! With our first two kids we had insurance and never thought twice about the great benefits. When I called my doctor today she said to plan on paying the doctor $2800 and the anesthesiologist and hospital around $8,000!!! So I have lots of questions: Will our private insurance pay once we...

ENT Surgeon / Adenoids

My son has had chronic sinus infections since he was about 6 months old, he is 18mos now. We were finally referred to an allergist, who discovered; after a cat scan, that his adenoids were moderately / severely inflamed. He recommended having his adenoids removed. So I am now wondering if anyone can recommend an ENT surgeon? Also, can anyone tell me what there child went thru when they had their adenoids removed.

Fired by a Pediatrician...

This one shocks me. I received a certified letter from my pediatrician's office saying that they would no longer provide care for my children. When I called the office to inquire why, the cut and dry answer was that I complained when I last saw the pediatrician a few weeks ago. Back in November, I had called the office for a sick visit for my daughter. They absolutely refused to give me an appointment saying that they were too busy. They suggested calling one of their other offices or to take her to urgent care. I ended up taking her...
