Getting a Start on Christmas Gifts - Handmade for Little Kids

I'd love some ideas for gifts I can make for my three girls for Christmas. I'm trying to be more economical this year (we spent a total of $300 for the girls combined last year) and still give them quality things. I am acquiring a sewing machine in the coming months. I consider myself pretty crafty but have a hard time coming up with ideas. Thanks in advance!

7 Month Old Waking up Crying

My daughter is 7 months old. She began sleeping through the night at 12 weeks - I thought I was lucky. Right after she turned 6 months, she began waking at odd hours of the night, crying. I've tried letting her "cry herself to sleep" but that never works. Crying turns into screaming, screaming turns into gagging. When I try rocking her back to sleep, she falls asleep immediately. As soon as I lay her back down in her crib, she starts screaming again. No sign of a tooth breaking through yet. She's got a night light and gets plenty to...

Homemade Christmas Ornament Ideas??

Attention craft mama's...you know you are out there:) I need some help coming up with a few good homemade Christmas tree ornaments to decorate a nursing home tree. My family service project this year is to decorate this nursing home, and the young women in my church (ages 12-18) are going to help out by making some ornaments. SO, given the fact that I am in no way crafty, I need some good ideas. I want them to be nice looking (not like my 6 year old made it at school), and reusable. I am planning to do the marblized glass ball ornaments,...

2 Qs...Bouncers And Teddy Bears.

SOOOO.... 2 questions... 1~ My DD is 3 months old. Is this too young to get her a bouncer? I want to get one of those activity bouncers...She can sit on her own (she needs help getting there... but once she's sitting she is good.) and has excellent head control... She also loves to "stand" for up to 5 minutes at a time. (she is standing on her own, just uses us for balance. lol) She has a floor gym that she likes... but she gets MAD if she is laying down too long. She wants to be sitting or standing. We put her in her bouncy chair, but...
