Help please ! I am miserable. Something is really wrong. About 6 months ago, I began itching - only symptom - down around the outer vagina, vulva and anus area. My son is 7 months old and is having his first bout with diarrhea. He's still eating and still having a wet diaper, though not as often as he usually does. What to Do with a 3 Yr. Old with a Possible Yeast Infecton?

My daughter has had what seems to be diaper rash down there, but she doesn't wear diapers, so I'm suspicious. She's complained of itching for about 4-5 days...we've tried various ointments but it doesn't seem to be getting better. Her entire area is red, inside and out. Normally, I'd take her to the doctor right away, but with the flu scare, I'm a bit anxious to take her in to a germ-filled waiting room for such a minor issue. I changed my baby's diaper yesterday (8pm) and saw that she had a major rash-sort of spot like and very sensitive and painful. I had changed her diaper about 2 hrs prior and she was fine. Severe Diaper Rash During Flu

My son who is 15 months old has had the flu for about 4 or 5 days now and has awful and I mean really awful diaper rash from all the diarrea he has had. What can I do to help clear it up and make it less painful. My daughter has had the worse diaper rash off and on for over a month. I called the pediatrician and spoke to the nurse twice and do what she says, then it gets better for awhile and comes back worse. The first time we thought it was a yeast infection so we treated it by not using wipes, and using lotrimen followed with cornstarch, and making sure it was very dry.
