My Pregnant Niece Has Eczema

My niece is six months pregnant and has developed eczema on her hands, arms and neck. We are hoping this has something to do with her being pregnant and will clear up after and not come back, shes never had it before. She has seen a doctor and was given some creams and lotions. I've looked up information online, but cant find if it has anything to do with being pregnant. Has anyone else ever experience this while pregnant. And was it only during pregnancy and not at any other time? Thanks for your help

Baby Eczema - PLEASE HELP

My four month old daughter developed eczema about one month ago. I took her to the peds and she diagnosed her with milk protein sensitivity. Ped recommended switch to hypoallergenic formula (Enfamil Nutramigen). She's been on new formula for almost two weeks (will be two weeks on Friday). It is a little better MOST days, but yesterday her skin looked terrible again. I am so discouraged and frustrated (not to mention worried). Has anyone else had this experience? How long does it take for the milk protein to leave her body? I am thinking she...

My Child Just Won't Eat.

As a mother of 3, this only makes most days harder. My middle child who will turn 3 in August, is a horrible eater. I'm not talking picky, he just dosen't like to eat. I have taken him to the doctor, and have had him tested for several things, but nothing seems to be wrong with him. He is active and happy, but can be very moody. The doctors told me his eating was a phase, and he should grow out of it soon. Although they say a fist full of food is all they need at a setting, but sometimes I'm lucky to get that in 3 or 4 days. We have taken...

Insect Repellant for Sensitive Skin?

DD is 6.5 months and just started daycare. She needs bug repellant, as she is getting about one bite per day. I really want something that will definitely work. I've thought about having her wear pants, but it's really humid and I know she'll get a diaper rash from that. Am also interested in your opinion on combination sunscreen and insect repellant. Does not need to be waterproof. Thanks in advance! Almost forgot to mention: She tends to have dry skin patches on the outsides of her legs and arms. So far, we're making do with...

Seeking Help with Pregnancy Rash on Face

I am pregnant with my 3rd child now and I have this rash around my mouth that i can't seem to get rid of. When I was pregnant with my second child I had the same rash that wouldn't go away until after I had her and then my skin was back to its clear self again, but now I am so frustrated on what to do. I am so self conscious about going into public feeling people are looking at my face and I don't want to just add creams to see what works. The rash seems to go down in the evening time and when I wake up in the morning but when I bath or...

Dealing with Eczema

I am the "momma" of a wonderful 9 almost 10 month old boy. He is having a tough time with the itchy, dry skin that eczema causes. There are times when it seems that it just drives him crazy and he scratches himself, at times to the point of bleeding. I try to distract him but I wish that I had something that would help with the itching. We rub him down 2 to 3 times daily with Aquaphor and his pedi has just given us a prescription of a steroid cream for bad outbreaks. After reading the precautions on the cream I really want to use it...
